Brig. General Kevin McLaughlin, USAF

Vice Commander USAF Warefare Center

Lt Col Roy Campbell, NV Wing Vice Commander-South addressed the audience. Commander NCS, Lt Col David Jadwin spoke more about the SLS. Capt Mike Mizner, Commander 70th Squadron also assisted in putting the SLS together. We then had our first lecturer ..

The General spoke on Officership and the Public Trust. He spoke at many levels for everyone to relate to, such as a USAF Officer, a Father with his own Sons in CAP, a Staff leader etc. And yes, he even spoke as a General. He shared ordinary situations he faces, that we all face in the Military, CAP and everyday life. The General set the keynote for the rest of the day with INTERACTION. He divided the group into 4 sections and asked each section to work as a team on an assignment. The rest of the weekend was now well underway.

WE REALLY FELT WELCOME WHEN THE BX GREETER VISITED US

BX PROMOTIONAL NCS OPEN HOUSE

1st Lt Arny Gamson June 27 Our Squadron distributed over 300 posters at the BX / Base Exchange about the NCS OPEN-HOUSE / Tuesday June 30 at the ALS / Airman Leadership School . Six Members passed out the flyers and talked to the interested people for 4 hours, from 10am to 2pm. There was a lot of interest and surprise in WHAT CAP DOES. People were very interested in our activities such as flying, Emergency Services, rocket building / launching. We talked to the parents and teenagers, military, and people from all walks of life who wanted to know more about us. We need more PR, telling people what we do. ALL CAP MEMBERS ARE IN PUBLIC RELATIONS.
