Poster project

Suppose you work for Math Maniacs Inc., a company that creates educational materials for classrooms. Your task is to create an informational poster for a mathematics classroom about adding integers. Your poster has to be about adding integers with both positives and negatives. You will also need to include a numerical example as well as one, which shows how to add integers using a number line. Your poster will be graded on the following: 1. A design approved by your teacher 2. Attractiveness 3. Organization 4. Free of grammatical and spelling errors 5. Complete explanations 6. Correct examples for each method.

Special Notes:
You will have one class period to get started on this task, what is not finished in class is homework due the next day. The following materials will be provide: poster board, colored paper, scissors, computer access, colored pencils, markers, glue, and rulers. However, you are not limited to these supplies. Please remember to use the Internet to refresh your memory, or create examples. (Yes, you may use the national online manipulative site to create visual examples.)
