What is this device?

The Internationally recognized device is a multi-functional, portable, handheld water-plasma device that was a result of an invention by ---scientists. (Patent signature stamp: "a universal invention of special significance"). device is the only--- invention that was awarded the Grand Prix Prize in all of the years of the Geneva World Invention Salon history. For the first time in the history of the metal working Industry, with the help of technology, a new device has been developed for the heat treatment of 0.5 - 8-10mm thickness metal (cutting, welding, soldering, tempering, spraying, etc.). Generating plasma via a water steaming process can now be conducted in absolute safety, using a portable, hand held, powerful, multi-functional and ecologically sound method. The device plasmatron is comprised of a plasma torch and an electronic power module with the total weight of only 6 (six) kg!!! The essential core functioning of the plasmatron is as follows. A voltaic arc is ignited inside the torch arm, between the anode gate and the cathode gate, converting the contained water first into the vaporized and then into the plasma state. In the vaporized state, the steam is ionized and under naturally generated pressure, it emerges from the torch nozzle as a 8000C plasma jet, by means of which cutting, welding, soldering and other kinds of non-combustible materials heat treatment is performed. The main advantages The device is unique primarily because it is cost-effective. It can be carried to the work site in a small bag. As no compressors, transformers, gascylinders or other heavy equipment is required to operate the device, the savings made in transportation costs alone, allows device to pay for itself within 3 months. This does not take into account the other costs such as the acetylene, propane or oxygen cylinders, their constant unloading and loading etc. Either regular water (to cut materials) or 45 percent solution of any spirit can be used as working liquid for device, depending on the process to be performed as well as to insure exeptionally high welding quality. Another important cost-effective factor is its minimal power consumption - only 2.8kW. In one year of operation the use of the device saves up to 3 000 USD as opposed to using welding transformers. At the same time, high voltage (380V), (which is not always available), is not required. In on-the-field conditions, the device set provides for multiple savings in using expensive oil products for generators (without taking into account that the price of a generator required to provide the 2.8kW power is several times less that the price of a generator required for regular arc welding).

The multi-functional capabilities of the device are the determining factor. device easily cuts any known non-combustible material, (unlike gas-welding), including stainless and high-alloy steel, aluminum, titanium, brick, concrete and ceramic. The quality is inherent and comparable with that of a laser device. The plasmatron, produced by our company, efficiently and effectively substitutes a large number of tools, such as : Hacksaw; Cut-off disk; Sheet or nibble shears; Blow-torch lamp; Gas burner; Thermofoen; Welding inverter or transformer; Laser cutter, And many others. The device operates with a 220 V socket connector and does not require a high voltage connection. The device is provided with an instantaneous fire-fighting mode, unmatched in the metalworking industry. Its precisive cutting accuracy (up to 1mm) allows for its application to a variety of different patterns, rulers and templates. The device is a technological breakthrough in the area of metal welding, cutting, soldering and other treatments and which is also ecologically sound. The steam molecules that swage the plasma jet cause the agitated metal bits to fall, instantaneously cooling them and simultaneously preventing them from being inhaled by the welder. The device is also an ecologically sound metalworking method. It is important to note that neither the combustion process itself is involved, nor combustionable materials are generated. No noxious poisonous gases (propane, acetylene, nitrogen, etc.) are used. According to an environmental impact statement of the Federal Republic of Germany, during the operation of the tool, the working room medium is additionally enriched with oxygen. Thus, the unprecedented ecological compatibility of this plasmatron makes it possible to perform operations in enclosed spaces without aeration (offices, living quarters, pipes, shafts, wells, tunnels, basements, etc). All the above advantages of the device plasmatron (in comparison to existing metalworking methods) are related to three basic factors: Its cost-effectiveness Its multi-functional uses Its ecologically sound compatibility

In addition, there are more advantages: Operating the tool device does not require lighting, as the flame provides effective illumination; As there are no thermal strains in the subject material (due to the narrow heat preparation area), a minimal shrinkage of the welded metal is provided for; The weld does not rust. A stainless oxide film forms in the welding area (an exclusive weld quality is provided; the metal structure doesn't differ from the basic); The tool device can be operated for 24-hours / day, 365 days a year at its maximum capacity rate.

Application domain The application domain, in the range of treating metal thickness from 0.5 up to 8-10mm (75% of the total scope of metalworking performed outside the metallurgical works) has no limits. Currently, this device is successfully used for operations with hyperfine car steel, in housing and communal services, for construction-and-assembling and other operations. The device is highly efficient for pipeline, heating and central-heating systems, power supply systems, assembly and roofing maintenance; for plumbing; for the repairs of refrigerators, air-conditioners and ventilation systems. This device is indispensable for operations performed in water trenches, underground tunnel engineering operations, assembly of all kinds of underground utility systems, for the use on board ships of any type and is also widely used in the nuclear industry, etc.

The device may also be used for separating gouging and hole-making, perforation, soldering, melting; ferrous and non-ferrous metals, concrete and other materials, local heating; as well as for stone-working and glass fabric preparation. The device can be used to make patterns (paintings) on ceramics and concrete, one's creative ability can be realized in working with metals and non-combustive finishing materials. It is also used to overcoat, modify surfaces (for cutting edges) hardening, concrete surface polishing (to reduce its hyroscopicity), to remove crud from metal structures and to protect them and to recycle waste. Basically, due to its unique multi-functional capabilities, it is difficult to find a metalworking task in which the device would not be of use. Water is life. It imparts the blue color of ecological purity to our planet. Using water as a power transfer source, we are working today with a technology of 'tomorrow'. So, fill the tool with water, connect the cable to a 220 socket coupler and feel the power of WATER! Performance specification of the device

technique
Among existing arc metalworking methods, the contracted-arc technique, namely the plasma-arc treatment, is finding wider use. Maximum efficiency is achieved when the plasma technique is used for cutting, welding, building-up and spraying. The high production rate and quality of plasma-jet precision cutting, supersedes processes such as gas-oxygen cutting. Contracted-arc welding has much in common with argon-arc welding by tungsten electrodes, but it is a more sophisticated method of welding.

Steam power is a perfect plasma-generating medium: pollution-free, blast-proof and nonwaste compound that has beneficial effects on the hygiene and sanitary conditions of work. When water plasma generates (ionization process), two hydrogen ions and one oxygen ion are generated. The steam dissociation into hydrogen and oxygen begins at a temperature of 1500K, and at the temperature of 2300K forms 1.8%. The bulk of the steam dissociates at a temperature of 4000K. Further increase in temperature provides for the hydrogen ionization with considerable amount of heat absorption. Thereafter, during the recombination in the anode area (of the item) a large amount of power is released, providing for the metal melting augmentation. At high temperatures, within the plasma-jet area, steam may also dissociate into hydrogen and hydroxyl (OH). The latter doesn't dissolve in the metal, as it is a high-resistant compound, thereby providing for improvement of the melted metal surface (the surface is characterized by a metallic luster). The device plasma-water portable hand-held set, developed in Russia and unmatched in the world, is a unique example that confirms the possibility of developing and manufacturing such devices The device set is comprised of a water-plasma torch and an electronic power module. The plasma torch is pistol-shaped and contains a discharge chamber, constructively integrated with the steam-generating device. Integration of the steam-generating system with the discharge chamber made it possible to create an efficient chilling system of the torch electrodes by means of thermal energy, released on the electrodes to generate steam. This approach provided for the development of a self-regulating chilling system (the more power is released on the torch electrodes, the more amount of plasma-generating steam is produced). The device water-plasma set is a universal device for metallic and non-metallic materials treatment. Neither compressors, nor pressurized cylinders, are required for its application. The only thing needed is a single-phase 220V socket connector and some tap water or aqueous-alcoholic mixture, filled directly into the torch. The suggested new plasma device differs from conventional equipment by its portability, it being ecologically sound and environmentally compatible and it being multifunctional. Cutting is performed by oblique and forward arcs; welding - by plasma and plasma-arc methods; soldering - by brazing alloy and common solder. All the sets are provided with a digital arc voltage display and thermal protection against overload. Due to the compact design of the device, maximum efficiency is achieved in all types of "outside/external" maintenance, repair and assembly operations, including: railway system

communications, telecommunication facilities, sanitary engineering, heating systems, refrigerators, air-conditioners, roof-topping and so on repair. It is also useful for metal repair shops (including main body repairs), in art shops, for builders, farmers and power engineering specialists. The inventions are patented in many countries. As well as by international patent applications M RF 97-22040 in Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxemburg, Monaco, Nederland, Portugal, Sweden, Korea, USA, Australia, Brasilia, Canada, Israel.

The technique has been awarded three gold medals by the International Invention Salons in Brussels, Geneva and Sofia. Besides, at the 24th Geneva World Salon, the international inventors were awarded the Grand Prix for the first time in its history. ***

Lifetime of plasma tool 5 years. Class of protection I. Some lots may have documentation with insignificant changes in text and diagrams. The plasma tool is subject to implied certification. The tool is certificated. This device In my shop I have three types of welding/cutting equipment. I have a regular Oxy-acetylene torch, MIG welder and Plasma cutter. Needless to say all this equipment is expensive, almost $15,000.00 worth. But what can you do? You need it. But not any more. Recently I got the device to try out and I was very impressed with what it could do. In a word, everything. What really impressed me was the compact size and light weight. With a torch weight of only 1.5 pounds you can weld and cut all day and not get tired. And it's compact size allowed me to get into some really tight spots.

I really put this tool through it's paces. I used their optional converter so I could plug it into a regular 110 volt outlet. The welding torch needs a fuel to burn. And the beauty of it is it uses ordinary Isopropyl alcohol. It can use anything with at least 40% alcohol content. I even used some Kentucky Burbon as a fuel. First I used it to cut some exhaust pipe and it made a nice, clean cut. Then I was able to weld the two pipes, with a normal slip connection, together with no problems. But exhaust pipe is easy, any welder can weld exhaust pipe. Next I grabbed a cracked exhaust manifold from the scrap pile and tried to weld the crack shut. In less than two minutes I had it done. I also used it to solder some copper water pipe I had laying around. I also used it to solder some holes in a radiator. However I recommend some practice with the torch before you go soldering your radiator. I had to do a trailer hitch installation. I usually farm out this type of job to a nationally known trailer rental company, but I decided to do this one myself. The trailer hitch was going on a 1997 pick-up truck. I bolted it in place as per the instructions and then I used the tool to weld it in place. No, I did not take it upon myself to weld it in, it was the customers request that it be welded as well as bolted. So no nasty letters please. Now I'll be the first to admit I am a good oxy-acetylene welder, but a lousy electric welder. I mean I can do it, but the welds look like garbage. I know a weld doesn't have to device pretty, but I always wanted my welds to look good. The device was so light and easy to use that even my welds looked good. The next thing I did was to start cutting things to see how well it would do. The device uses plain water to do it's cutting and it cut through everything. I used it to cut through high-alloy stainless and steel, titanium, aluminum, brick, concrete and even ceramic tile. Each time it cut like a hot knife through butter, even through " thick steel. What impressed me is the cutting flame is almost as thin as a needle. You could do some really intricate scroll work if you wanted to. The tool came complete with everything needed, except the face shield. It even comes with a carrying case so you can take it with you. As long as there is a 110 volt outlet, you can weld and cut. Everything sits nice and neat inside and there is room for other things as well. It comes with a complete accessory kit that has everything you need to do just about any job. And if you should need replacement parts, they are readily available. About the only down side is, I would have liked to seen a longer cord for the torch, but I put the unit on my cart and it was fine.

Included is such accessories as a 90 cutting head and two nozzles for loading the torch and torch supports with water. In addition there is a safety shut off if the torch runs out of water while in use and an "Overheat" warning light will come on. It's even environmentally friendly. Since the tool is powered by water, there are no hazardous byproducts produced as compared to other types of welding. No harmful or combustible materials are generated or used to operate the system. This allows you to use in tight spaces without special breathing apparatus. In fact, the only by-product of the tool is oxygen. It is also energy efficient. It only draws 2.5kw. A 100 watt light bulb draws 1kw so it's like having three 100 watt bulbs on at the same time. This will allow you to use it in the field with an ordinary generator anywhere. The best part of this tool is that it is affordable for the average Do It Yourselfer. Just $00000 get's it to your door with free shipping. If you do body work, vehicle restoration or modifications or any kind of welding or cutting, you need this tool. It is sturdy and well built and it should last for years. The Kit includes: two (2) torchs, transformer/power unit, carrying bag, accessory kit, torch supports, instruction manual, and warranty.
