Illinois Teach For America Alumni Board We as Teach For America corps members and alumni believe that

Illinois students should understand the realities of educational inequity and feel a sense of responsibility and fire to contribute to closing the achievement gap. With a critical mass of Teach For America alumni who attended Illinois universities involved, we can achieve this vision of engaging all Illinois students in a conversation about educational inequity.

Faculty Engagement Committee Chair The Faculty Engagement Committee Chair will be responsible for leading his/her committee to build relationships with a diverse set of faculty and staff who have the potential to serve as advocates of Teach For America on their campuses. They will lead the strategy for determining which faculty relationships should be prioritized and the ways faculty can remain engaged in our work on campus. This committee will ensure that our movement is sustainable and enduring and ultimately put Illinois on the map as a top contributor to the pipeline of leaders in education. I would be interested in any of these positions.
