Dynamic culture

Dynamic culture is culture that complex whole which includes knowledge, faith, art, ethics, mouth, behaviour and any other capabilities and habits acquired by man as a member of society.

Characteristics of Dynamic Culture


Some characteristics of the dynamic culture are as follows:

1. Culture is Continuous and Cumulative


Dynamic Culture exists, as a continuous process. In its historical growth, it tends to become increasing. Culture is growing completely which includes in itself, the achievements of the past and present and makes provision for the future achievements of mankind. Culture may thus be conceived of as a kind of stream flowing down through the centuries from one generation to another.

2. Culture is Consistent and Interconnected


Dynamic Culture, in its development has revealed trend to be consistent. At the same time, different parts of culture are interconnected. For example the value system of a society, a society is closely connected with; its other aspects such as morality, religion, customs, traditions, beliefs and so on.

3. Culture is shared
Culture in the sociological sense, is something shared. It is not something that an individual alone can possess. For example customs, tradition, beliefs, ideas, values, morals, etc. are shared by people of a group or society. Culture is something adopted, used, believed experienced or possessed by more than one person. It depends upon group life for its existence.

4. Culture is Gratifying
Dynamic Culture provides proper opportunities, and prescribes means for the satisfaction of our needs and desires. These needs may be biological or social in nature. Our need for food, shelter and clothing and our desire for status, name, fame and money etc are all fulfilled according to the cultural ways. Culture determines and guides the varied activities of man. In fact culture is defined as the process through which human beings satisfy their wants.

5. Culture is Transmissive
Dynamic Culture is capable of being transmitted from one generation to the next. Parents pass on culture qualities to their children and them in turn to their children and so on. Culture is transmitted not trough genes but by means of language. Language is the main vehicle of culture. Language in its different forms like reading, writing and speaking makes it possible for the present generation to understand the achievements of earlier generations. But language itself is a part of culture.

Corporate culture
Corporate culture determines the how people think, act and analysis the world around them. Corporate culture is natural and created automatically. Every time people come together and shared their purpose and culture is created. This group could be a family, neighborhood, project team or company. It combined thoughts, energies and attitudes of the people in the group. Corporate culture shows the companys dress code, work environment, work hour, rule of getting forward and getting promoted, how the business is viewed, what is values and much more.

Police culture
Police culture consists of those intellectual and creative practices which define an phase, period, social group, nation, or society as being socially constructed (man-made) and not just formed naturally. It is highly structured artifacts like prominent uniforms, typical communication style, and extreme display of weapons. This culture is transmitted to the new entrant as the way we do thing here and become part of our values systems. The agencies justify these prominent artifacts on the basis of the prominent nature of their responsibilities and to keep the general public at a distance. Their fortress-like closed buildings give a threatening feeling of strength and authority which is improved by the presence of armed personnel at the entrances and inside. The police station environment causes fear in any visiting ordinary citizen, which was the original objective. The communications

style of ordinary law enforcement personnel is rude, hard and uncivilized and is instilled in them right at the training school.

Family culture
Family culture defined as collection of attitude, ideas and environment, which a person inherits from his/her parents and relatives. Family system in every country will vary depending upon their culture and style of living. It is also called family tradition. In Pakistan, the joint family system is quite usually found. Joint family usually comprises father, mother, children, grand father and mother, and they live together with their people in the same family unit.Similarly, in the most traditional societies, each family has its proper state of mind, its memories which it alone commemorated and its secrets that open only to its members but these memories as in the religious traditions of the family of antiquity, consist not only of a series of individual images of the past.

Government Culture
Government culture means a body of people that sets and administered public policy and exercise executives, political and body power through customs, institutions, and laws within a state or community. In Pakistan the government culture is very slow due to corruption, political crises, favoritism etc.
