In fact, according to a recent study by Alloy Media + Marketing, the college newspaper becomes a part of almost every students life during their time at school. The study shows that more than 75 percent of college students have read their campus newspaper in the last month. The study, performed in 2008, surveyed college students from 550 universities across the country, capturing students reading habits and preferences, as well as revealing data on their behaviors and attitudes toward advertising within the campus newspaper. The study also surveyed faculty and staff members from more than 200 universities, honing into one of the many diverse demographics a college campus can provide. Murray State University is a prime example of one of those widened demographics. Advertisements that are submitted electronically must be in one of the following formats: PDF, EPS, Quark XPress, Photoshop, TIFF, JPEG. Any ad larger than 18 inches deep will run as a full page. 2x5 $68

Billing

Invoices are mailed on the 15th of each month and are payable when received. We can extend no credit. Any business failing to make payment within 30 days of the date of the invoice will be assessed a 1.5 percent late charge per month on previously billed ads. Any business failing to make payment within 90 of the date of the date of the invoice will be required to prepay for future advertising. Advertisers needing tearsheets should indicate this need to the sales representative when the ad is placed. The advertiser must notify the advertising manager or advisor within 5 days after an error occurs for adjustments or a makegood ad to be considered.
