Low pressure override is provided for the export flow control valve (reset by level). High pressure override is not provided. The new booster and main pumps have minimum flow protection via spillback control and low flow shutdown. This will address high pressure on pump discharge at pump start, due to restricted LV to avoid pump overspeed. Existing tanks have not been evaluated for wet H2S service. Evaluation of existing metallurgy for existing piping or equipment is not in project scope. Earthing drawings for new tanks, booster and main pump motors will be done during detail design and not issued until next year per schedule.

FOD Question Is it possible to gauge the new tanks. Understand if it is required. Is there any stilling well provided on new tanks. Tank gauging is the only official alternative to Krohne meter

PT Answer With Krohne fiscal meters in operation, tank gauging will rarely occur. The new tanks are not intended to be gauged since there is continuous inflow and continuous outflow. Technically, tank gauging is still possible on available nozzles(8" Nozzle N3) with the proper PPE (sour gas exposure) but not preferred due to safety issues with personnel exposure during the operation.

Permanent strainer required to protect the pumps. PSIT required between the strainer and booster pump. How is the tank elevation differences being address for the low level trip. FOD Question Water pumps shall be able to handle Hydrocarbon

35 28-Aug-12 D7-633-006 - No oil to pit. Need solution to minimize oil to the pit. Consider: Analyzer redundancy. Analyzer near storage shutting down the pumps. - Interface transmitter on existing tanks = Downpipe D7-633-006 installation inside existing tanks, Plastic Pipe designed for Maximum operating temperature. -Line from pump discharge to alternate location (different than water pit/Produced Water facilities) to drain hydrocarbons remains from the line. Add a sample connection at analyzer points to check D7-633-006 analyzer readings How we address the issue of voltage drop between the General - Electricalcontrol room and the booster pumps for control cables (Fiber Optic cable?) General - Rotating How many stages do the new pumps have? Consider moving the booster pump check valve upstream the recirculation valve so control logic would not be D7-0601-004 required to prevent pump back-rotation Have vibration monitoring systems considered for the new pumps? If not required why not? Consider recirculating main pump to its suction to take advantage of initial discharge pressure to supplement booster pump discharge pressure. This also alleviate main discharge pressure at pump start-up by recycling. Recycle to the tank is seen as not necessary. Is overheating the pump a concern in this case?

PT Answer Water pumps are API 610 vertical canned type pumps which are also designed to handle hydrocarbon in wet sour service. Will compare between multiple analyzers at each tank water nozzle to shut down the water pump (manual logic to select analyzer) vs. one analyzer at pump discharge given that the analyzer can be calibrated to read low concentrations of hydrocarbon in water. Goal is to ensure minimum content of hydrocarbons in water pumps suction line when pump stops.

See attached Crude Export Pump machinery protection philosophy reviewed with EMIL. Routing the recycle from pump discharge to pump suction can result in overheating for large pumps. The general philosophy for large pumps is to route the pump recycle back to the storage tank which functions as a heat sink and eliminates the issue of overheating pumps while running on continuous recycle mode.

Low suction pressure trip disabled DS6 LSIT: 2.00 m. (Issue is with DS6) DS7 LSIT: 1.95 m. DS8 LSIT: 1.90 m.
