RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS (a) Upper Age Limit (as on the 1st day of January, 2012) is (i) 40 Years for Post Codes 01a, 01b, 02a, 02b, 03a, 04a, 05a, 05b, 05c, 06a, 07a, 08a, 08b, 09a, 10a, 11a, 11b, 12a, 12b, 12c, 13a & 13b and (ii) 35 Years for the remaining posts. (b) The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for SC / ST by 5 Years and for OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B by 3 Years. 2. Applications must be made only in the format prescribed by the Commission, which should be downloaded from the website, www.coopwb.org and duly printed. Applications in any other format are liable for rejection. 3. An applicant must not submit application for MORE THAN ONE POST CODE. An applicants candidature will be liable for rejection, if he / she submits two or more applications against more than one Post Code. 4. Candidates who have applied against Advt. No. 10/2010 need not apply in response to this Advertisement. 5. The applicant must enclose with his / her application: (a) Self-attested photocopies of documents as proof of age, caste, academic / computer / professional qualifications and job experience & (b) An amount of Rs. 170.00 (Rupees one hundred and seventy) only, comprising an Application fee of Rs.160.00 only and Banks Service Charge of Rs.10.00 only, payable only by UR and OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B / EC candidates through Challans in the appropriate Forms (to be downloaded from www.coopwb.org ) against Cash to be deposited in favour of CO-OPERATIVE SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL with any Branch of The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. Payment by any other mode will lead to rejection of the Application. 6. Fees once paid are not refundable in any case. 7. SC / ST candidates are exempted from paying any fees against submission of self-attested copies of SC/ST Certificates. 8. Those in service in State / Central Government / Public Undertakings must declare that they have informed the head of Office / Department in writing of their having applied against this Advertisement. 9. Application in hard copy not containing the Commissions Copy of Bank Challan (for UR / OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B / EC candidates) as proof of paying Application Fee of Rs.160.00 only [not applicable to SC/ST] or not duly signed by the Candidate, with self-signed photo pasted at the right place, or if it provides false or wrong information shall be rejected outright. All examinations / interviews will be held in Kolkata Metropolitan Area only for which no TA / DA will be paid to the candidates. 11. Applicants must have passed Madhyamik / Higher Secondary or equivalent with BENGALI as the 1st/2nd Language. 1. PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOWED IN SENDING APPLICATION TO THE COMMISSION A. DOWNLOAD the pdf versions of the prescribed Application Form & the prescribed Challan Form (separate forms for The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. and United Bank of India) from www.coopwb.org and get them printed. B. DEPOSIT the Application Fee in CASH in any Branch of THe West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. / United Bank of India in the manner narrated in Rule 5 above and retain Applicants Copy and CSC WB Copy of the Bank Challan, duly receipted and stamped by the Bank Branch concerned. C. FILL UP the prescribed Application Form meticulously following the instructions contained therein and sign wherever asked to do so, list out all the Self-Attested Photocopies of all your supportive certificates and documents as detailed in the ANNEXURE of the said Form and the Commissions Copy of the Bank Challan (for UR / OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B / EC applicants) and stitch all these items securely with a durable thread. D. SEND the Application Form to the Commissions Office Address by Post / Speed Post / Registered Post / Courier Service. ensuring that it reaches the address latest by 5-00 p.m. on 03/08//2012 (Friday) or DROP IT in the earmarked Drop Box of the Commission placed at the Ground Floor of the Main Building of Bhabani Bhavan at 31, Belvedere Road, Alipore, Kolkata-700 027 latest by 5-00 p.m. on 03/08//2012 (Friday).
