passport Online Process

The online application for the passport can be applied and submitted only by the registered users with the passport seva website. After successful registration with the website they have to follow few steps as mentioned below Step 1: User has to log-on to their account present on the passport seva website. Step 2: After log-in you have to select the option titled as Apply passport online that is placed at the left navigational menu. Step 3: User must fill in the details that is present on the form and then submit the form online once detail are filled appropriately. Step 4 (Optional): The documents can be uploaded by using the option called Upload Document link present on the home page. The document must be in pdf format and it must be self attested by the applicant. Step 5: Once the online form is filled and submitted the applicant is required to be present at the Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK) or at passport seva kendra (PSK) with the original document to proceed further with the passport seva kendra process. Applicant has to schedule an appointment with the PSK or Mini PSK. It is mandatory for an online appointment to continue with the processing of passport application. In case of medical cases/ emergency applicant can directly go to PSK without appointment. The need to resubmit the application form can arise if the form submission process is not done within 90 days at the PSK office after submitting the application online. Procedure to fill the online form by the applicant at Mini Passport Seva Kendra (Mini PSK)/ Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) Step 1: The applicant has to collect token from the Issuance counter and then submit it and take acknowledgement receipt for the application. When the token number is displayed applicant has to take prior appointment printout at the Citizen Service Executive. Step 2: The applicant has to complete the activities like signing zerox copy of the application form, capture of fingerprint, getting photography capture and then finally paying the fees. Note: If the applicant is minor i.e. their age is less than 4 years than they must carry a passport size photograph with white background while they visit the passport seva Kendra.

Step 3: After successful data entry the applicant must collect the fee acknowledgment receipt from the CSE and then do the verification of their application form and documents at the verification counter. They need to carry original document when their token number is called for the verification process. Step 4: You need to go to the granting counter when you are called so that your application can be processed. Step 5: You need to collect the print out of the acknowledgement letter of the application submitted at the exit gate. Once the application is successfully granted then you can collect or except the passport that is dispatched to your address.
