Tadao Ando Architect & Associates, Intern Osaka, Japan (June-August 2012) Worked with various teams to make analog models of multiple ongoing projects (conceptual models, studies, client models) and assisted in project documentation. UN Studio, Intern Amsterdam, Netherlands (June-July 2010) Worked with a team on the Dance Palace project in St. Petersburg. Collected research, built a structural model of the auditorium and conducted various facade studies on fenestration and treatment. Structural Systems, Teaching Assistant Cornell University, Ithaca, NY (August-December 2012) Advised students on the construction of a 3D physical model of the structural system of an existing building; dealing with issues of fabrication, scale, materiality, and execution to develop a comprehensive understanding of its structural elements. AAP Student Representative Cornell University, Ithaca, NY (August-December 2011) Liaised with administration and the student body to implement improvements (library facilities etc.) and introduce activities (lecture screenings etc.) for the architecture department. CUSD, Graphics & Outreach team Ithaca, NY (January-June 2011) Designed t-shirts and handled advertising campaigns through various forms of social media for student-run organization on campus: Cornell University Sustainable Design - Schoolhouse South Africa.
