#1 Removing virtual host How do i remove a virtual host? i created it and i need to remove it from site-available Last edited by whosherox; February 20th, 2011 at 08:51 PM..

#2 Re: Removing virtual host To remove the host file just delete it. If you just want to dissable the site, use Code: sudo a2dissite sitename

Again to remove (delete)it completely from the system, Code: sudo rm /etc/apache2/sites-available/sitename

I would also disable it first before deleting the file. __________________ Nothing is ever easy, but if it is difficult you must be doing it wrong.

Lynx Restart apache2 Code: sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 reload

Again to remove (delete)it completely from the system, Code: sudo rm /etc/apache2/sites-available/sitename
