EE4416 Applied Engineering Methods

Required Undergraduate Catalog description: Applied discrete and continuous probability, random variables, probability distributions, sampling, data description, parameter estimation, hypothesis testing, inference, correlation and linear and multiple regression. Prerequisite: MATH 170 Calculus I Additional topics: Design of Experiments, Statistical Quality Control and Six-sigma concepts, Risk Assessment, Modeling. The course will be taught as a practical engineering course and should be considered very much a most important course for engineering students who go into industry.
