ATTENTION
Do not paint the heat sinks. Do not restrict free airflow from the heat sink. Remove the handle when not in use.
Lifting / hoisting the TMB Note: Be sure that the handle is locked correctly. Note: When hoisting a TMB it is strongly recommended to avoid collisions between TMB and tower by having a steering rope from the TMB and down to the ground.

Step 1:
Handle / lifting wire is connected to the two bolts located on the big heat sink.
Fit the Mounting Plate on the wall. Hook the TMB on to the plate. Tighten the 4 screws.
Step 2: Step 3:
Pole mount.: Two inner clamp halves, two outer clamp halves, 4pcs M8 x 12 mm bolts , 4pcs M10 x 200 mm bolts, 4pcs M10 x 140 mm bolts Mounting the TMB on a vertical / horizontal pole Note: The TMB shall always be installed upright to ensure best cooling. If at all tilted make sure the TMB is tilted backwards and maximum 5 degrees.
Step 2: Join the inner clamp halves (c) and the mounting plate, using the four M8 x 12 mm bolts (d).
Step 5: Position the clamps around the pole and insert the two remaining bolts (M10x200 mm or M10x140 mm). Position (e) on figure 4. Tighten all four bolts, taking care to keep the two halves of each clamp parallel.

Step 6: Position the TMB and tighten the four locking bolts (a).
Step 3: Then mount the outer clamps (b) loosely, each with one of the long bolts (e) (M10 x 200 mm or M10 x 140 mm). Check that there is enough space for the pole.
Step 4: Finally check that the two remaining long (e) bolts are accessible.

Mounting of the CIU The CIU mounting plate is prepared for wall mounting as well as pole mounting. Wall: Screw the mounting plate on to the wall. Use the holes located on the CIU mounting plate. Pole: Use a plastic strap or a steel band. Slide the CIU down on the mounting plate and lock it with the set screw found on the side of the CIU. CIU/TMB Communication Cable - Recommended cable type: RG58 - Max. attenuation: 20dB @ 10 MHz - Max. DC resistance: 10 ohm - Recommended connector: Water proof TNC
Power Supply Cable Note: It is essential that the power supply cable is properly dimensioned and securely attached to the tower/building. Note: It is recommended that the main power supply cable for the TMB is connected to a separate circuit breaker at the base.
115/230 VAC The outer dimension of the power cable shall be 6-8 mm. The connector has three terminals.
Connecting the earth cable The TMB cabinet and CIU must be connected to a suitable earth point. Fit the lug of the earth cable over the bolt and then fit the locking washer. Secure the lug and washer with the outermost nut.
Note:
Connecting the cables Connect the RF feeder cables to the respective RF connectors at the bottom plate of the TMB. The RF connectors are clearly marked ANT and BTS.
They are clearly marked: N = Neutral L = Line (phase or positive) 0 = Earth (ground)

48 VDC
BTS # 1
BTS # 2
Note:
The voltage at the TMB must be at least 40 VDC. Please refer to the technical user manual for cable dimensions
ATTENTION! It is very important that + and - are connected correctly to the terminals of the power connector.
Power connector
Figure 8
On the drawings the Power connector is seen from the cable side. The connector is marked with numbers and ground symbol: Terminal 4 must be connected to the positive voltage. Terminal 5 must be connected to the negative voltage. Ground terminal must be connected to the ground.
Note:
Be sure always to connect the RF feeder cables and the grounding wire before the power cable. This is to ensure that the power plug is not damaged if knocked by the spanner while thightening the RF connectors. Please note that the 48 VDC version do not have any external fuse.
Note:
Inside the TMB + and - are isolated from ground. This makes it possible to provide the TMB with both +48 VDC or -48 VDC. LG-MF:00069 Rev. D TMB Installation Guidelines
