Our constitution has granted certain fundamental rights for each and every citizen of our country. These are seven rights in the sequence of 1. Right of equality 2. Right of freedom

3. Right against exploitation 4. Right of freedom of religion 5. Cultural and educational rights 6. Right to constitutional remedies 7. Right to primary education The Govt. of India is bound by the constitution to provide these fundamental Rights to every Indian citizen but then there are some views that these rights are only on paper and in practical the Govt. can even oppress these rights. We do have some examples when our Govt. has opressed these fundamental rights. Are these Rights just on paper or they can be practised in real? .these fundamental rights can be practised by every citizen of India but it has just converted in to a promise on the piece of paper without any formal power backup. The constitution does not say that what will happen if the Govt. of India fails to oblige these promises.. These Fundamental rights are very often proved - just to be a - mirage and we certainly need an amendment in this regard. - Editorial of a newspaper With the help of NEWSPAPER ARTICLES present your views against or in favour of the above statement. This HW will be done in your notebooks.
