RULES & REGULATIONS


Adopted January 22, 2011
Rancho Paloma HOA CC&Rs provide that the Board is authorized to adopt and enforce reasonable Rules and Regulations, and to impose penalties for non-compliance with Rules & Regulations and CC&Rs. The Cathedral City Municipal Code may also apply in some of the situations listed below. Please visit the Cathedral City website (www.cathedralcity.gov) for more information.

Pets
1. Pick up after your pet and dispose of pet waste properly. 2. No pets off leash out of the owners yard. 3. Be courteous to your neighbors, and control your dogs barking, whining, howling, etc.

Vehicles
1. No playing of vehicle radio/stereo at loud volume. 2. Speed limit inside front gate is 20 MPH. 3. No disabled/expired tag vehicles in driveways or parked on the street. These vehicles must be removed within 72 hours of notice from Board. Failure to remove vehicle may result in towing and/or fines at the owners expense. 4. Recreational Vehicles, such as Class A, B or C Motorhomes and all types of travel trailers and Fifth Wheels, may be parked in an Owners driveway or on the street in front of an Owners property for a 72-hour period to allow for loading and unloading. No storage of these vehicles is allowed other than in an Owners garage. 5. Residents are prohibited from parking any trailer with a boat, jet skis, motorcycle, ATV, etc; any recreational trailer; or any work or commercial trailer in their driveway or on the street. All trailers must be parked only inside garages. Moving trailers or vans will be allowed to park in an Owners driveway or on the street for a 72-hour period to allow for loading and unloading. 6. Only parallel parking is allowed on the street inside the gate. Owners and tenants should park only in front of their own property.

General
1. Homeowners should refer to the current Architectural Guidelines prior to making any landscaping modifications or improvements.

2. Homeowners should refer to the Architectural Guidelines prior to beginning any remodeling, exterior painting or construction. 3. All landscaping must be cut, trimmed, weeded, and watered regularly to maintain a well-kept appearance. 4. No planting in common areas or removal of plants from common areas. 5. No plantings around fire hydrants. Hydrants must be visible from the street and fully accessible on all sides. 6. No disposal of waste of any kind except in designated trash bins. 7. No furniture, equipment, toys or bicycles may be stored or left out in front yards. 8. No climbing over walls or gates. 9. Owners are responsible for tenants and guests. Tenants must be given a copy of Rules & Regulations. 10. Owners must provide names & telephone numbers of any tenants or renters to management in writing prior to the beginning of the rental period. 11. Quiet time for the Association is from 11pm to 7am. 12. In addition to the sign allowed by the CC&Rs, Article 3.04(b), an owner or real estate agent of the owner may advertise an open house by placing one (1) standard real estate sign of reasonable color and display qualities with a maximum face area of six (6) square feet in the common area outside the front gate, on either side of the driveway, during the hours of 1pm to 5pm on Saturday or Sunday. 13. No garage sales are allowed within the Development without prior permission of the Board. 14. Holiday decorations are permitted and must be removed or taken down within three weeks of the holiday.

VIOLATORS OF THE RULES & REGULATIONS OR CC&RS MAY BE FINED BY THE BOARD: FIRST OFFENSE $50, SECOND OFFENSE $100, AND THIRD OFFENSE $200.
