Study association TG
www.tg.tudelft.nl
The Technologisch Gezelschap (TG) is the study association for the bachelor Molecular
Science and Technology and the masters Chemical Engineering and Sustainable Energy
Technology. TG organises a wide range of activities such as excursions, lunch lectures,
informal drinks, Benelux trip and a foreign excursion tour. TG also monitors the quality and
content of the education. To experience faculty life at the fullest, join the TG. TG also sells
books to students at reduced prices.
The Energy Club
http://www.energyclub.nl
The Energy Club is an association for people with a passion for (sustainable) energy. It
is the student-led part of the Delft Energy Initiative. A place where students, professors,
teachers, employees, companies and alumni can meet and share information, inspiration
and motivation. A network and a platform from which many energizing activities, projects
and other spin-offs can start. The goals of the Energy Club are based on its two core
elements: being a network and a platform. The Energy Club is creating a community with
people passionate about energy, sharing information and inspiration. Besides being a place

for gathering information, we create a fertile ground for projects and initiatives. The Energy
Club brings energy-interested people closer to each other. We bring students closer to
research at the TU Delft, companies closer to students and employees closer to projects.
Board of Studies
The Board of Studies is an advisory body consisting of students and teachers which meet at
least every quarter. The Board of Studies has three main responsibilities:
To advise on the Teaching and Examination Regulations and Implementation Regulations
To annually evaluate the programme
To advise on all matters concerning education.
Board of Examiners
The Board of Examiners Sustainable Energy Technology decides whether you deserve a
Master diploma for a set of successfully completed courses and projects. If you have followed
the regular programme, this decision is straightforward, but deviations are possible. To
apply for acceptance of exceptions to the regular programme, a request should be submitted
to the Board of Examiners. It may be wise to consult the Academic counsellor in advance.
These requests should be sent to the secretary of the committee,
Mrs Helen Emmerink
W.H.Emmerink@tudelft.nl
Tel. +31 (0)15 2789076
Regulations
www.tnw.tudelft.nl/regulations
The regulations handle all possible issues concerning education and examinations. All rights
and obligations of both students and teachers are explained in detail. The Teaching &
Examination regulations and Implementation regulations are determined by the Board of
Studies. The Board of examiners determines the Rules and Guidelines regarding examinations.
Please consult the web page for an overview and the archive of all regulations. In the Rules
and Guidelines you will find the pass/fail regulations, the meaning of the marks, or the
conditions for the predicate with distinction.

servicepuntTNW@tudelft.nl
The service desk at the entrance of the TN building is the place for questions or complaints
concerning the building, furniture, ICT, coffee machines, certified transcripts and the like.
Also for statement regarding theft you can consult the service desk.
