This is the 5-day immersion phase during which you learn to master the basics introduced in Part A and tackle an additional decisive theme a ecting your life. 6.
Sustaining intercultural competence and relationship building while maintaining the competitive edge in an export-oriented economy In your international leadership role you are often sandwiched between your boss in your
home country, your business partners abroad, your culturally diverse project team and, of course, your family. Each party has di erent expectations of you. Through our coaching program you acquire a unique scope of intercultural competence, which goes far beyond culture-speci c knowledge and sound communication skills. Many leadership challenges faced by managers today can be traced back to underlying communication and relationship dissonances. The International Leadership Program helps you clarify your relationship issues on both a professional and personal level.
7.
Fast track your career and get the edge You do a great job. You are a competent leader and a specialist in your eld. Just the same, you ask yourself if you are up to the constantly changing challenges you face on a daily basis. What is your unique quality that sets you apart from others? The International Leadership Program allows you to explore and nd ways to accelerate your career and stand out in the crowd.
where the International Leadership Program di ers from conventional leadership and coaching trainings:
1.
Long-lasting and sustainable e ect on everyday life. Our train-the-coach training speaks for itself. As you apply the coaching approaches, tools and methods youve learned during the course of the training in your everyday encounters, you will experience a positive development toward sustained job satisfaction and success. We are certain that our program will o er you the critical impetus you have been seeking to open you up to a higher level of emotional intelligence that is likely to enrich you life in many ways.
2. Body-oriented coaching for rational-minded managers. The International Leadership Program is based on a bodymind approach to coaching. In contrast to purely logical-analytical methods, we take into consideration that human beings are emotionally and physically motivated rather than purely rational beings. Accordingly, we integrate the di erent levels of awareness (body, mind and soul) including the way these are expressed (behavior, cognition and emotion) in our program curriculum. Experience has shown that this method is particularly e ective with extremely rational-minded managers. Our methods are scienti cally-proven and in line with current research ndings. 3. Step out of your comfort zone the focus is on you. During the course of the program your focus is on you. You take on personal and professional issues and challenges confronting you and begin to shape your own reality. We refrain from imposing conventional leadership theory. Instead, we provide a calm environment and stand by you as you move gradually out of your comfort zone. 4. Experiment and discover ability to handle change breaking with old patterns. Three integral phases: Experiment Experience Theory form the learning model upon which the International Leadership Program is based. We steer clear of marketable knowledge. The outcome is open-ended. It is not our intention to in uence you in your decisions nor do we suggest solutions. Your ability to accept and deal with change increases by a factor of between 10 and 12 in comparison with other training programs. You become aware of patterns blocking you and break with them. All we ask of you is curiosity and your eagerness to explore new ways of learning and understanding. 5.
Learning partnerships and taking personal responsibility for your learning process ensure e ective transfer. As a participant in the International Leadership Program you take responsibility for your learning experience. By remaining
open and receptive to recommendations on our part, you are certain to heighten your learning experience. Participants bene t from trustbased relationships among fellow participants. The close working relationships and support networks that develop build trust and sustain motivation over and beyond the on-site training phases. Leave your manager accessories (ties, iPads and smartphones) at home. We focus on you as a person, regardless of your position in the company. You stand in the center of this exercise while you temporarily step out of your professional role.
6. Authentic trainer team. Unlike many other train-the-coach programs, we (two trainers) work in tandem to assist you for the duration of the program. We are unique in that we live what we teach and present a diverse spectrum of perspectives, ie.: Man-woman; younger-older; psychologist certi ed public accountant; German Dutch. Taken together, these elements o er you a broad plane to re ect your projections. We are forthright and sincere without being hurtful. Our combined experience as business leaders allows us insight into your behavior and leadership patterns. Use us to test yourself and come to know yourself in the process. We believe in working together as adults rather than standing before you in a student-teacher relationship. 7. Satis ed participants! We count 350 satis ed participants to date. Our quality standards are high. For this reason we limit attendance to 15 participants in management positions. See for yourself by checking a selection of regularly updated testimonials on our website.
Success can be yours - it depends on the way you choose to reach it.
