Creation of PRT materialMaterial Type should be : FHMI Production Resource tool

Quantity and value updating tick mark should be selected for: FHMI

In material master view procurement type should be both. Maintain following settings under Prod. resources/tools view

We cannot find measuring point against material, so if we find about PRT usage data in production or any other purpose then equipment must be create.PRT material master is using to maintain purchase data. Equipment cannot manage purchasing data. 2. Use IE01 to create equipment data & maintain following data in it.

3. Create characteristics with same unit of measure as finish product & assign characteristic to class whose class type is 037. T-Code CT04 for create the characteristics. Data type should be Numeric & do not assign value to characteristics.

4. Create Class with the help of CL01 and assign above characteristic to this class where class type should be 037.

5. Create Measurement point T-Coe IK01

6. Create maintenance plan: - Maintenance plan is required to measure count with measuring point. Create Maintenance plan with the help IP01

Next screen will appear as like below.

Next click on Save button, after that following screen will appear.

Maintain value for StartCounterRdg as 1 and click on button, we will get the message that new maintenance plan maintain. Above value of StartCouterRdg we can be change in rounting. 7. Maintain PRT Equipment in Routing.

Next screen will look like as per below.

And finally save the routing. 8. Create the production order with the routing contain new PRT data. 9. Confirm the Production Order and check the measurement point counter data via IK13. Counter Reading = Maintenance point Difference = PRT usages when last time confirmation done. TotalCtrReading = Sum of all usages of PRT equipment while confirm the production order.

Do the enhancement such a way, so TotalCtrReading would not cross AnnualEstimate or Upper Limit of Measuring point & once value of TotalCtrReading = AnnualEstimate then equipment should not use in routing.
