About our menu


Sourcing only the highest quality and freshest ingredients, our chefs have created an exciting Christmas menu to delight your palate. From home-cured salmon to an innovative twist on the classic Wellington and Daniis silky smooth Cambridge burnt cream, youll be spoilt for choice with our festive menu. Whether celebrating the Yuletide season with colleagues, friends or family you can be sure of a warm welcome from our 2SH team.

Private function rooms


Keep Room
Ideal for up to twelve people sat around a large boardroom style table. Great for extended family meals, small business meetings and stag/hen parties.

Castle Suite
Our large function room seats up to 30 people around a large hollow-out square formation. Good for company meals, business presentations and birthday or anniversary celebrations with family and friends.

New Years Eve Party


Well be hosting a 4-course dinner with Sparkling reception and live music from 8pm on New Years Eve. Ask a member of staff for more details, and to reserve your place.

Turkey and all the trimmings, Wellington style, with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Double roasted belly of pork


Free-range Gloucester Old Spot with celeriac rosti, braised fennel and calvados & apple jus

Fillet of south coast bream


with garlic kale, sea salt & rosemary roasted potatoes and buerre blanc

Roasted squash fondu


with selection of seasonal dipping vegetables and roasted potatoes [v]

35-day aged rib-eye steak on the bone [4 supplement]


Dry aged with triple-cooked chips, flat-cap mushroom, roasted vine tomatoes and a rich beef stock
