Capitalism (The Black Horse)

The black horse (Revelations 6:5-6) or spirit (Zechariah 6:4:-5) in the book of Revelations is a belief system that would be prominent in the end times. It would be the counter part of the red horse (communism). All through the sixty years of the cold war it was a contest between the red (communism) and black (capitalism) horses. What does the rider of the black horse have in his hands? A pair of scales or balances. These items (balance and scale) were actually stamped on the coins of Imperial Rome. The balances represent trade and commerce. That is what makes capitalism go. Free enterprise is the whole spirit that motivates capitalism. In Revelations 6:6 we read what seems to be a stock market report. "And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." Those prices were the exact same prices during the time of Roman Emperor Severus Alexander (222-325 AD) reign as king in Rome. Whenever there is conflict, bloodshed, war or great violence; the people suffer economically. Another thing which is true is that when people began to lose economic power back then as now, they also lost personal rights and liberties, as well as a break down in the national justice system. The oil, wine and wheat are the actual items taxed by Rome back then. Due to the many conflicts of the Roman government, they passed the tax burden unto the people which resulted in agricultural decline and over all economic distress that helped to destroy the Roman government some years later. Continual warfare will always bring about hyper inflation and famine.What is presently taking place in America, has already took place in Rome many years ago. Both systems (Roman and American) display the same hallmarks of decadence, decay and apostasy. King Solomon said these words around 960 B.C. "The thing that has been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun." What does the term Black Tuesday mean? Black Tuesday was October 29, 1929, the day the New York Stock Exchange crashed and thus began the time of a great depression. Have you ever heard of the term "Black Monday." In finance, Black Monday refers to Monday October 19, 1987, when stock markets around the world crashed. The flag of Capitalism is

black and yellow. Yellow symbolizes gold while black represents capitalism and "anarchy" or the simple absence of recognized public government. The black market operates on the principle of anarchy. On December 9, 1966 Time Magazine reported about this fact. "A grand coalition of two major parties, the Christian Democrats and Social democrats, that have fought bitterly fought each other for years. A union of black and red, it was a marriage of convenience, but a stunning match nonetheless." Black was used here as a symbol for capitalism, while red for communism. It is the official color for Capitalism.
