CUCOH VOLUNTEER APPLICATION 2012

We are seeking highly motivated and hard-working student volunteers to be a part of the 8th annual student-run conference, taking places November 16th- 18th 2012. The conference introduces delegates to the multidisciplinary field of healthcare with presentations from some of Canadas top healthcare professionals. Thank you for your interest in volunteering for CUCOH. Please submit the completed applications along with a resume to chairs@cucoh.com with the subject line CUCOH Volunteer Application 2012 by Friday, October 12th 2012 at 11:59 pm. If eligible, you will be notified over email for an interview. The following positions are available to volunteers. There will be more than one person filling most positions. The Speakers Committee is looking for one intern to organize the committees email inbox and learn more about the behind-the-scenes process. Another volunteer, with experience in presentation technology such as speakers and projectors, is needed for the technological side of the conference. The committee is also looking for general volunteers to help with the discussion panel and other organizational matters throughout the conference. Internal Marketing is looking for volunteers to help spread awareness for the conference around campus in addition to doing general volunteer duties during the conference. The Research Committee is looking for volunteers to help during the research competition by hanging posters and handing nomination forms. The Publications Committee is looking for volunteers with previous experience in graphic design. To apply, please attach 3 to 5 samples of your graphic design work along with your application and resume. A volunteer photographer is also needed to take pictures throughout the conference. The is also the opportunity to be a general volunteer to help out with set up and take down during the conference along with other duties that may arise.
