What is a computer? It is a machine maker of electronic parts and controller by software.

You can use them with peripheral devices connected at USB ports like printer, keyboard and monitor for example. What is a digital age? The digital age is a new form to use the information and the communication way using the technology. From the house, school or job. And all this a just one click.

The hardware is classified by CPU, main memory and peripherals. The memory includes the memory RAM and ROM. The peripherals are classified into 3 types: an input devices like keyboard and mouse, the output devices like monitor and print and last the storage media like magnetic drive, flash drive or Optical drive.

1.-What is a digital age? The digital age is a new form to use the information and the communication way, using the technology from the house, school or job. And all this a just one clicks. 2.-Explain what a computer is. It is a machine maker of electronic parts and controller by software. You can use them with peripheral devices connected at ports like printer, keyboard and monitor for example 3.-How are computers used in banks? Personally, I used a computer to see my account balance or make transfer online to other account if I dont have a time to go a bank in person, of course if a have money in my account. 4.-Whats the difference between hardware and software? The software is a set of instruction, called program, which tells the computer what to do. The hardware is any electronic or mechanical part you can see or touch 5.-What are the three main sections of the hardware? Describe each part. The hardware is classified by CPU, main memory and peripherals. The CPU executes program instruction and coordinates activities of all the other units. The main memory holds the instructions and data which are being processed by CPU. The peripherals are the physical units attached to the computer. 6.-How are peripherals classified? The peripherals are classified into 3 types: an input devices like keyboard and mouse, the output devices like monitor and print and last the storage media like magnetic drive, flash drive or Optical drive. 7.-Whats the function of the storage devices? How are they classified? The storage devices provided a permanent storage of both data and program. Are classified into three types; Magnetic drives, optical drives and flash drives. 8.-Whats the function of the ports? The port is into which we can plug a wide range of peripheral. 9.-What is the function of the input and the output devices? The input devices enable data to go into the computers memory and output devices enable us to extract the finished product from the system. 10.-What do RAM and ROM stand for and what are their differences? The RAM stand for Random Access Memory, its volatile memory. The ROM stands for Read Only Memory, and is non-volatile memory.

11.-What are the three main parts of the CPU? The control unit, ALU and registers. 12.-Whats the function of the system clock? It sends out signals at fixed intervals to measure and synchronize the flow data. 13.-What does BIOS stand for? The BIOS stand for Basic Input Output System 14.-What are buses? It is an electrical channel which allows devices inside the computer to communicate with each other. 15.-Whats the bus width? Its the size of bus and determines how much data can be transmitted. 16.-What is the difference between a bit and a byte? The bit represents two states; 1 or 0 and the byte is eight bit together, and represents characters. 17. - Which one do you prefer for your own personal use, a laptop or a desktop computer? Why? Personally, I prefer a laptop, because a can go with it at everywhere and it can be more powerful than a desktop.
