Call for Librarian/Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer/Senior Engineer/Junior Engineer/Systems Assistant
1. Librarian (Pay band Rs.15600-39100 & Grade pay Rs.7600) (Functional designation as Chief Information Manager) Mode of Appointment: Exceptionally good candidates may be considered for a Regular position. Applicants interested to be considered on deputation may also apply. Candidates may be considered for two years contract position as well. If appointed on contract a fixed consolidated salary commensurate with Pay Band and Grade Pay. If appointed regular, probation norms will apply. Qualification: Masters Degree in Library Science/Information Science (under 10+2+3/4+2 scheme). Consistently good academic record is required. Ph.D. in relevant area may be an advantage. Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in library of academic/research/ training institute of national/international repute, with at least 2 years in the immediate lower Grade Pay of Rs.6600/- in the Pay Band of Rs.15600-39100 (pre-revised scale of Rs.10000-325-15200). Preference will be given to applicants having experience in developing technical libraries and sound practical exposure to computer application in the management of modern, state-of-the art library in a highly automated, integrated and networked environment. A successful applicant is expected to independently develop and manage the library. Good communication skill in English is essential. Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (Pay band Rs.15600-39100 & Grade pay Rs.6600)(Functional designation as Chief Finance Manager) Mode of Appointment: Exceptionally good candidates may be considered for a Regular position. Applicants interested to be considered on deputation may also apply. Candidates may be considered for two years contract position as well. If appointed on contract a fixed consolidated salary commensurate with Pay Band and Grade Pay. If appointed regular, probation norms will apply. Qualification: B.Com (under 10+2+3 scheme) with CA/ICWS/Cost Accounting or equivalent. Consistently good academic record is required. MBA is an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification officer level experience in finance and accounts of a government department or public sector/autonomous academic/research institution of national/international repute, with at least 2 years in the immediate lower Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- in the Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 (pre-revised scale of Rs.8000-13500) (or in higher scale). Applicants having experience in running finance and accounts office of large educational institutions have an advantage. Sound practical exposure to advanced computer applications in the management of finance and accounts is desirable. A successful applicant is expected to independently manage the Finance and Accounts Office and advise the Director on managing funds. Good communication skill in English is essential. Functions: Overall in-charge of Finance and Accounts Office and is responsible for maintenance of accounts, disbursement, investment, statutory auditing, preparing budget estimates, and tax and other statutory requirements. Senior Engineer (Fixed monthly salary Rs. 40,000/-) Mode of Appointment: On contract for two years, extendable based on performance and requirement. Persons superannuated/Superannuating from CPWD/PWD/PSUs and well known construction companies can also apply. Qualification: Degree/diploma (under 10+2+4/3 scheme) in Civil engineering or an equivalent professional qualification from a reputed institution, with additional qualification/experience of handling electrical work. Consistently good academic record and communication skills. Good working knowledge of computer operations and engineering software applications is preferred. Knowledge of installation and maintenance of electronic equipment will be an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant post-qualification experience (excluding apprenticeship or training period) in Government or academic/research/commercial organization of national/international repute, with at least 5 years at Assistant Engineer or higher rank. Applicants should have experience in handling large civil projects with commensurate electrical work. Age: Not exceeding 60 years as on the last date for receiving application. Functions: Handling civil projects (with electrical component) of the Institute as engineering custodian. Advising Director on conception, design and management of civil projects and associated electrical work, handling civil and electrical maintenance work, coordinating with the PM/PMC, Project architect and construction agencies of the New Campus Development, supervision of project-related work as per CPWD guidelines, verification of bills submitted by contractors, works related to maintenance of existing buildings occupied by the Institute including hostels and residences, and other related work assigned. No. of Posts: One 4 Junior Engineer (Pay band Rs.9300-34800 and grade pay Rs.4200) (Functional designation as Engineering Executive) Mode of Appointment: Exceptionally good candidates may be considered for a Regular position. Applicants interested to be considered on deputation may also apply. Candidates may be considered for two years contract position as well. If appointed on contract a fixed consolidated salary commensurate with Pay Band and Grade Pay. If appointed regular, probation norms will apply. Qualification: Degree/diploma (under 10+2+4/3 scheme) in civil engineering or an equivalent professional qualification from a reputed institution, preferably with experience or additional qualification in handling electrical work. Consistently good academic record is required. Sound knowledge of civil project design and implementation. Having a Post-Graduate degree or diploma in management may be an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (excluding apprenticeship or training period) in a similar position in government or academic/research/commercial organization of national/international repute, with at least 1 year in the immediate lower Grade Pay or equivalent of Rs.2400 /- in the Pay Band or equivalent of Rs.5200-20200 (pre-revised scale of Rs.4500-125-7000/-). Applicants should have experience in handling both civil and electrical work. Good working knowledge of computer operations and use of engineering software applications is preferred. Knowledge of installation and maintenance of electronic equipment will be an added advantage. Should have good communication skills in English. 5. Systems Assistant (Fixed monthly salary Rs.25, 000/-) Mode of Appointment: On contract for one/two years, extendable based on performance and requirement. Qualification: Degree/Diploma (under 10+2+4/3 scheme) in Computer Science/IT/Electronics Engineering with specialization in Computers from a reputed institution or equivalent. Consistently good academic record and good communication skills in English are required. Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience (excluding apprenticeship or training period) in maintenance and servicing of IT hardware and software in a similar position in Government or academic/research/commercial organization of national/international repute. Applicants should have a flair for serving educational institution. Thorough knowledge of Windows, Computer hardware & software (Desktop/Laptop), networking of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi and troubleshooting, configuration of network equipments (like switch and access points).
