Stories picked up by the CBC, the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star and more. More than 3,000 news outlets picked up story about a Nova Scotia lobster invention worldwide. Responsible for providing a variety of coverage including weather-related farming problems and a feature on a mother and son reunited after more than 40 years apart. Charlatan Publications News editor, January 2011 May 2012. Manage a volunteer staff by guiding news coverage, generating story ideas, assigning reporters and photo requests, editing consistent with CP style and page layout with Adobe InDesign. Responsible for breaking nationwide news multiple times and was asked for sources multiple times from Canadas leading news agencies. Lived with an Argentinean family and worked daily as a caregiver at Residencia Eva Peron, a community home just outside of Cordoba for children abused by their parents. Was responsible for organizing daily activities, preparing meals, feeding the children, changing their diapers and putting them to sleep.
