Sources must be clearly referenced within the paper body and full citation information provided separately in the bibliography. At least two of the citations must come from an academic or semi-academic journal such as: The Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Operations Management, International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management, or Supply Chai Management Review. There are many others. Paper: The deliverable is a concise, professionally prepared report not to exceed four double-spaced pages plus a bibliography. Every word counts. Here are some hints: 1) Write an outline first to help organize your thoughts. 2) The topics are not mutually exclusive and may overlap to some extent. 3) Envision the paper as something you might give to your next manager for them to read understand the topic /conclusion written in the paper and be able to make a decision (that you would be held accountable for) if necessary. 4) In such a short paper, it is vital to define and frame your topic and terms clearly. 5) Focus on answering the questions of what and why. 6) Keep in mind that this is a logistics class.
