LOCATION OF PLANT:
Panipat is one of the famous city of Haryana. It is just 90 km from Delhi .In older days Panipat is famous only for three battles, but now a days panipat is famous for industries which are flourishing in it heart agro processing are one of the major part of industrial world. Agro processing industry is those who use only agriculture product as raw material to produce their final products these industries product as wheat, fruit, veg., flow etc. Pan food is one of the major agro processing industry in panipat.It is situated 4 km away towards Delhi from panipat bus stand. HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

PAN food ltd. was established in 1970 by M.M. Mahajan &now presently owned by Rakesh Mahajan. It is a big company. It organization structure is very well established. At top level they have

In 1985 pan food got international award for its productivity. Pan food is building a portfolio of products fruits jam & sauce. They may seem like a risky gamble, but pan food does not think so. Few years ago it launched its fruit-juice in Delhi its selling it in the more affluent part of town. The association used the fruit to improve the fitness & stamina of his armies. Pan food register under form no.11 & (prescribed under rule 86).

RAW MATERIAL
Which is used for final production of goods is purchased from diff. Places. As the production items & quality is large so the quality purchase is also in bulk. For diff. Production they have diff. Suppliers. The material they purchase is as follow Potato Tomato Carrot Cauliflower Cabbage Spinach Fruits The production of products is continuous. For production of non- seasonal items they purchase material in seasonal time &preserve it. The preserve items are: Carrot Cabbage Apple Orange Grapes

CHAPTER-2
DELICIOUS PROCESSING PROCESS OF KETCHUP:
In steam double jacket machine file a clean water bath canner 1\2 full and bring to a boil, with the wire rack in place. Wash the jars in warm soapy water &rinse. Check each one for minute cracks & nicks in the rim. Leave the jars in the hot water until needed. Separate the lids and place them in a saucepan of water. Bring to a boil and then leave in the water until you need them. Wash sound, ripe, high-acid tomatoes dip them in the boiling water of your large pot for about 80%c or until the skins crack. Then place the tomatoes in cold water. This allows the skin to slip off easily. Core out the steam &discard. Leave the whole or cut depending on size & preference. Pack in to jars & either wash down, so that the juice covers them. Add salt to each pint.removeair bubbles wipe off jar rim place the lid on, and screw ring down firmly.

Place the jars into boiling water bath &carefully &process pints for 40 mintues & quarts for 45 min counting from when the water return a full &boiling boil. Remove carefully and place jars on dry folded towel until cool & sealing is complete. The ketchup is automatically pumped into bottles vacuum filter machine. This ketchup is then exported to diff. Indian markets.

Process of jam
Pulp -paste-kettle-sugarboiling-thick paste. Till 40 (t.s.s.) Total soluble solid. Acid- acidic acid, chemical sodium begawade Kettle-filler-bottle-conveyer-packed

This machine is used for cutting of the vegetable only the main advantage of this machine is that it can cut up the vegetable in different type of size &shape.

This machine is used for boiling purpose only carrot & potato .the main feature of this machine is that it only boils half the vegetable

Drie:
This machine is used for drying the fruits & vegetables after all the processing is done of steaming, cutting.

PEAS DEPODING MACHINE (15 lakh)


This machine is used for pilling of peas.

CONVEYER (20 lakh) BOTTLE VACUM FILLER


This machine is used for the filling of jam &sauce. In this machine pipe suck up the jam & sauce then automatically file up the jam & sauce in the bottle itself & then vacuum is made & finally the crock is put on the bottle.

So, the help of various type of machinery does the process of production &it required highly skill engineers & labours
