If there is room in your heart, please come adopt me! MOSES is a German Shepherd/Aussie mix, 3 years old. Moses here and I would like to introduce myself. I am a 3 year old boy who is neutered, housebroken, and I do not jump fences. I am a gorgeous dog with beautiful shiny black fur. I am friendly and happy, and I like people and other dogs. I also enjoy going for a walk, and I walk well on leash. I am just the right size, too not too big and not too small. I am a nice dog boy who is looking for a second chance in life. Please come meet me, lets enjoy a walk together, and then we can sit down and talk about becoming a family. The pound is full and I am scared Im waiting!

e-WOOF spotlights many dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted.
Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. We urge you to crosspost to e-mail lists and Web groups, forward to friends, send to co-workers, and share with family. We hope our efforts, combined with yours, will save many lives.

NBRAN - Laramie, WY Contact: Linda at 307-745-5232 or lmickleyk9s@gmail.com SKIPPY has been called Skippy, the Skipster, our boy Skipa-Long Cassidy, because he is enthusiasm and fun in a dog suit! He enters into everything: playtime with you or other dogs, cuddle time for hugs, and training sessions, with such a joy of living! Hell make you smile! He does love to sight birds and chase critters, like Britts do, so a cat-free home is best! (Bunnies are a fave to chase!) Skips idea of heaven would be a couple of 8-10 year old (or older) kids to romp with in a secure yard, or a hike, and then belly rubs, and quiet time with his family. He will excel in obedience, and probably agility or fly-ball, as he is responsive and so eager to make his people happy and proud of him. He is good in the crate in a car, house-broken, knows his name, sit, and to come when called. He weighs about 42 pounds and wont get much larger. Skip was chained outdoors for the first part of his life and the neighbor kids would let him off to play and then not take him home, so he very much wants his own loving family who care about where he is. Skip is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. If you are looking for a very upbeat fellow, who will cuddle on cold winter nights, and be your BFF, please fill out the adoption application on NBRANs website: http://nbran.org. NBRAN is also in need of foster homes for pups like Skippy, so if you want to help him become the great dog he has the potential to be by offering him a temporary home until his forever person adopts him, that would be very welcome! NBRAN can transport Skipster up to 1200 miles to his new home!

Time is of the essence for helping the dogs featured in the e-WOOF newsletters. Please contact the name/numbers for each dog before contacting eWOOF. In most cases, time is limited for the dogs featured in our newsletters--with that in mind, we try to get the word out to as many contacts as we can using this publication. Work on behalf of the animals for finding them homes and/ or rescues comes from many, many sources and is an ONGOING effort dealt with a sense of urgency. In some cases there may be times when a sudden adoption and/or rescue comes through at the exact time our newsletter is issued. This is an unforeseen circumstance on our part--while we certainly understand the crossover may cause frustrations for you as the prospective adopter of an animal we hope you join us in rejoicing for an animal being saved. We appreciate and thank you for your continued support FOR THE

ANIMALS!

bit of spice! She is an absolute pixie of a Britt; VERY smart, busy, and inquisitive. Look at her face: she is looking to you for the next fun thing to do! Shes 30-pounds, with lots of energy packed into that little body. She is ready for romps, hugs, belly and ear rubs, hiking (on a lead) and would do well in obedience class, maybe even agility, as she is extremely foodmotivated and loves to please. She makes great eye contact; shell sit in front of you, asking OK, whats next? Lets do it! A secure fenced yard and lots of regular exercise are needed to keep her safe and happy. She loves to snuggle and will sleep on the bed all night, if you let her. She has good leash manners and knows come, sit, down, this way and is working on stay and wire crate-training . Ginger should be in an all-adult household, or with older kids; a Britt-savvy owner would be best. She would love to have a young and active dog of similar size to romp with. She ignores cats that dont run from her. She would love a kiddie wading pool to splash in! Ginger is epileptic, but her condition is under control with simple, low-cost medication that is given twice daily. Epilepsy in dogs is not to be feared, but managed. Epileptic dogs, once stabilized (as Ginger is), live full and happy lives! Ginger is house-broken, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped. She can be transported up to 1200 miles to her new home by the wonderful NBRAN volunteer transport team. Will you give Ginger the chance to be your best girl? Or, if you can find it in your heart to offer Ginger a foster home until her forever person finds her, she would be very grateful to have the love and structure of a Britt- or high-energy dog-savvy home. She is such a sweetie, but very busy, and needs an experienced owner who can give her lots of attention and direction for that energy. Please see NBRANs website at http://nbran.org for more info.

MAC is a 2 year old neutered long-haired male Main Coone who is up to date on his vaccinations and has tested positive for FeLV. Due to this diagnosis, Mac has special needs due to a feline disease called Feline Leukemia. This diagnosis means he needs to be an indoor cat and the only cat (dogs ok) because this is contagious to other cats. Any concerns about health care can be discussed with our Veterinary Partners or your veterinarian. Mac is a large cat, very loving, and talkative male who wants to lay in your arms and follow you around. Mac is in a foster home awaiting a furrever home...! FLUFFY is a 9 year old spayed long-haired domestic feline who is up to date on her vaccinations and has no health concerns or special needs, other than a phobia about carriers (closed spaces). A delightful personality she is shy, yet inquisitive and will chirp in conversation with you. Fluffy does well with other cats and dogs but not with those wanting to roughhouse or chase. Looking for a home with plenty of sunny spots without young children. Fluffy is in a foster home awaiting a furrever home! MAC

nior male Shepherd/Chow? mix. He was picked up as a stray and as of yet no one has come to claim him. He is probably around 10 - 11 years old. He is on 100mg of Rimadyl once a day for arthritis and does have cataracts. He was also treated for ear mites. He appears to be in fairly good health otherwise and his mobility is pretty good except his back legs are pretty stiff when he walks. He does not get aggressive with other dogs but he does not really seem to like them much. Fritz did not like to be on a leash at all but is actually starting to walk fairly well on one. He is a little timid at first but seems to warm up to you pretty fast. Can you help us find a home for Fritz?

DOBBY -- dainty Dobby is an adult Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix. Like a lot of smaller dogs he can be a little timid of new people at first. But given the time to get to know you, Dobby becomes a loyal, silly, outgoing companion. He never forgets someone he loves and does silly happy dances for his friends. Dobby adores children and would be a great companion for a family looking for a small dog. He is also great with other dogs and cats.
Husky, likely purebred. Pinky is the class clown type and she loves to run and wrestle with other dogs. She is affectionate with people she knows, she is aloof with those she does not. Pinky is house trained and reliable with free roam, trust worthy with cats, too. She has a food guarding behavior that warrants cauPINKY tion. Pinky will need someone with patience to take a chance on her at the time of adoption because she does not connect with new people right away -- her aloofness needs to be understood by a special owner.

is a very good, loving family dog. She loves to go for walks, runs, loves to play ball, and to go camping. She is house trained and listens very well. Other than walks around town a leash is never used. She is very energetic and a very good jogging partner. She travels very well in the car and can stay inside during the day while owners are at work for MEMPHIS more than 10 hours (however this is rare, 6-8 is typical). Memphis has also been raised with another Lab in the house. She loves to sleep in bed with her owners and has never been an outside dog. She has been treated more like a child than a pet her entire life. She is current on all shots and has been spayed. The only reason for needing to find her new home is because of her jealousy of her current owners new baby. They want to find her a home with older children in an active, outdoor-loving family.
