Sub :- Loan Repayment : Loan Agreement No 15591874 . Self Employed Professional Loan. Debt restructuring plan : Loan account are in default for Borrowers in distress Respected Sir/ Madam I am Dr. Suresh Kumar.P. MBBS, one of the customers of HDFC Bank Ltd. I had taken a loan amount Rs. 7,79,000 for my personal requirement. I have attached details concerning my loan along with this letter. Since last year I had been experiencing lots of troubles in my life. I was under great pressure as I had been transferred from place to place currently out of job as I failed to repay few EMI of the loan amount for this year. I was hardly able to concentrate on my profession due to ill health and a chronic Low back ache. I had somehow paid EMI of the loan by severe struggle. Unfortunatly, I was under financial crisis which resulted in decreasing of my financial credit, and in deep financial debt. Moreover, my mother had been suffering from head injury, due to an accident which resulted in expensive treatment, and regular follow up treatment and rehabilitation. The medical treatment is still continuing. I was not able to do medical practice for the last five -six months to generate enough income to repay few EMIs of the above said Loan. All this put heavy financial burden on me and in severe financial debit crisis-a borrower in distress whose Loan account are in default. Because of this I failed to repay few EMIs of the Loan amount for this year without my own fault and without the intention of not to repay. I am not able to service my Loan in time and I would be greatful if you could help me make a new revival plan or the said Loan. I could not repay few EMI of the said Loan would like to utilise the services of the credit counseilling centre (BCSBI) which are working under the instructions of the RBI.

I came to know that the EMIs will continue to be presented to my account as per the orginal repayment schedule. Non realization would attract charges at prescribed rates for return and delay in recovery (currently at Rs.450/- only per instance and 2% p.m. respectively). Iam aware that I had given to you 8 blank signed cheques of Catholic Syriyan Bank, Trichur while availing the said loan in 2009. I assure you that i wll surely repay the over due amount of the loan as soon as possible.I have learnt that the RBI has issued some orders to he same effect to help the borrowers in distress whose loan account are in default. The HDFC Bank did not give a clear picture and information to a customer like meregarding the interest, penal interest, and other expenses, while availing me of the financial services like the personal loan. I have landed in deep financial debt because of this lack of knowledge and proper detailed informaton from the bank aslo. Hence because of the above cited reasons, i also requests services of the credit counselling for the opportunity to get to know about the real benefits of the loan service,Expenses, Loss of money, and to compare the benefits of the same financial service offered by different finncial instituitons and how to find a Step wise soltion to the borrowers in distress who landed in deep financial debt crisis.As part of the custmer service contact programme I would alo like to avail the financial services which are essential for every pesons as part of the credit counselling by BCSBI (Banking Codes and Standards Board of India) as a customer of HDFC bank.

I would be grate ful if you could please negotiate and discss with the HDFC bank from whom I have availed the said Loan and to restructure the Repayment of the loan, Debt and EMIs and allow me to repay in lesser amounts monthly . I kindly beseech you to extend my loan repayment of Dues of EMI s for ONE year. I request for extension of period of remittance of Loan repayment,to give one year to re pay dues in EMIs So i humbly request you to guide me to find a considerable settlement of the loan and to give facilities for relief such as Waving the interest, penal interest and interest rate. So I humbly request you to help me reduce the mental stress and deep financial debt crisis of the.customer of the HDFC Bank, which happened because of the situations beyond my control and reasons and without my own fault and without the intention of not to repay the EMIs. Further ,as i fail to repay few EMIs of the said loan that i have taken from the HDFC bank,, The COLLECTION AGENTS hired by your bank harassing me Day and Night ,to return the amount. They call me at Odd hours of the day and pay personal visit to my Home at Alappuzha when i least expect it.They tried to harass and intimidate my ailing Mother ,who is bedridden following a head injury. Causing much mental worry and physical unrest to her. What happens if she get a Heart attack and Dies? Who will take responsibility/ The HDFC Bank?

The persistent demand for the repayment of the loan by the collecton agents hired by your bank is pressurising me and my Family and it is causing intense mental agony to me.

The Manager of the Alppuzha HDFC ( Mobile No.9349312340) came to my home at Alapuzha and threatened my ailing mother and insulted me over the phone regarding the loan repayment. The Collection agent at Trichur , Mr. Pradeep, spoke rudely and in a threatening manner and tried to insult my Doctor Profession by using uncultured worgs like \You dont know how to treat the patient and tried to redicule my Divine Doctor profession.When asked the collection agents treated me rudely causing me much mental agony and harassment.I asked politely for him an explanation , he snapped at me. He forgot that i am his customer and paying him for his services, when i complained , i get shouted at by the collection agent. I request you to take positive steps to solve this unfare practices of the collction agents. I know that all assistance would be given to resolve disputes or differences regarding Dues in a mutually acceptble and in an orderly manner. The decency and Decorum would be maintained. I m ready to repay the dues in EMIs of the Self Employed Professional Loan, But I would like to get one more chance.I would like to inform you that the over due amount in EMIs would be cleared as soon as possible. I would like you to do a Loan restructuring Plan for the repayment of the loan, Debt and EMIs. Please allow me to repay in lesser amounts, Extension of the remittance of the Loan Period and I kindly beseech you to extend my dues in EMI Repayment for One year. I am aware thatfor The HDFC Bank nothing more important than the customer to ensure that valued customer like us are completely satisfied with your services.I know that my quiries ,feed back and Complaints about your products or services are always adressed. I know your collection policy is built on Courtsey, fair treatment and persuasion. You believe in fostering customer confidence and long term relationship.
