For example - provision of a stabilisation splint, endodontic treatment (and follow up), replacement of a removable prosthesis with a fixed one, or any other short discrete treatment plan such as a replacement denture etc.

A written 1000 word maximum case report (excluding legends to photographs and references), should be submitted using the following template and contain such succinct clinical record material as the candidate considers relevant, including no more than one chart and five clinical illustrations, and including a reflective report of at least 500 words per case as part of the overall 1000 words. Cases that do not conform to these stipulations will not be

accepted.
Candidates may consider a description of key characteristics of the patient, findings from history and examination: Case number and patients initials. Patients gender and age (not date of birth). Initial complaints and patient expectations. Past dental history and relevant medical history. Examination: o extra-oral o intra-oral Justification for special investigations, Interpretations of clinical findings and appropriate diagnosis: Initial radiographic findings and results of other relevant tests: e.g. sensitivity Diagnosis or diagnoses Prognosis of individual teeth or the dentition as a whole
