Hillary Strikes Back

The Clintons are clearly on a divergent path than President Obama. Hillary just Judod Obama in this informative article POSTED IN THE UK DAILY MAIL. In this report Secretary Clinton separates U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice from her State Department, and instead says that Rice was selling the message, and following orders, from the White House, not from the State Department. President Obama made Susan Rice (UN Ambassador) A CABINET LEVEL POSITION - not part of State Dept. Hillary goes on to say that THEY (State Department) NEVER felt it was a video movie that caused the Benghazi attack: The State Departments insistence it never bought the story expressed by the White House and Susan Rice, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations that a crude anti-Islam film made in California triggered the attack gives ammunition against Obama both to the Romney campaign and congressional Republicans. In a briefing on Tuesday, State Department officials said others in the executive branch concluded initially that the attack was part of a protest against the film, which ridiculed the Prophet Muhammad. That was never the State Departments conclusion, reporters were told. So who were these Senior Administration Officials who spoke to CNN ON 9/13 and placed the blame on the U-tube video ? Find that out, and we will have a better understanding of why they felt it necessary to create a false story. And someone needs to explain this contradictory excerpt from the Daily Mail story: [...] A concurrent CIA memo obtained by The Associated Press cited intelligence suggesting the demonstrations in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault on the diplomatic posts by extremists. It appears the report of the supportive CIA report is BOGUS, yet it was spread in various news sources as factual support for the White House assertion by Susan Rice. Remember, with Obama HE CHANGED THE STATUS OF UN AMBASSADOR TO CABINET LEVEL; meaning Susan Rice reports to him, not Hillary.

EMERGENCY ALERT JUST IN: CDC Atlanta (Centers for Disease Control) - The Center
for Disease Control has issued a WARNING about a new virulent strain of this old disease. The disease is called, "Gonorrhea Lectim." It pronounced "Gonna re-elect him" and it is a terrible Obamanation. The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior. Many victims contracted it in 2008 ... But now most people, after having been infected for the past 1-3 years, are starting to realize how destructive this sickness is. It's sad because Gonorrhea Lectim is easily cured with a NEW DRUG just coming on the market called Votem-out. You take the first dose now and the second dose in Nov. 2012 and simply don't engage in such behavior AGAIN; otherwise, it could become permanent and eventually wipe out all life as we know it. Please pass this important message on to all those folks you really care about!

Charter School Amendment

SOME tea party activists that are opposing the Charter Amendment say they are concerned about Agenda
21. People have a right to fight for what they believe in without being ridiculed just because you don't like their argument. Yet we are not seeing real arguments to continue blind support for a public school system that does not work. Each of us has a responsibility to use our own arguments one way or the other, rather than trying to use explosively loaded language like - Communist plot, Agenda 21, Muslim takeover, etc. What I'd love to see is a discussion that focused on student success and best use of taxpayer dollars, rather than power and money. Arguments against the Amendment include local control and expansion of government. Local control is a myth. Georgias local boards of education speak and act with a hive mentality. They follow the money and embrace every new fad espoused from Washington and Atlanta. That is why Henry County fails to graduate one-third of its high school students within the four-year term. That is why political correctness rules every aspect of the public school environment. Read these comments by conservatives who understand the need for parental choice -Speaker Pro Tem Jan Jones and State Rep. Alisha Morgan Thomas: "Weve tried the one size fits all approach to education for decades, and weve had too many students fall through the cracks. Lets increase the educational options for parents, students and teachers by voting Yes for public charters on Nov. 6."

~3~

Insight from Charlie Harper, Peach Pundit, on why he'll be voting "Yes" in November!! "For parents who face bureaucratic walls and no choices but a non-responsive, failing school, there should be more options more local than a one size fits all school board. That appeals process can come from a state charter schools commission. Not another level of bureaucracy as critics attempt to paint it, but a volunteer appointed board that can grant charters to schools which can demonstrate a plan which involves parental commitment, educational rigor, and a reasonable financial plan." From the Fordham Institute's Education Gadfly Weekly....."According to pre-election polling, over half of Georgias voters appear to support more public school options in Georgia. Not surprising, considering that twenty years of charter schooling have highlighted the dysfunction of Georgia-style local control and the extent to which school boards and superintendents will go to preserve their nearmonopolies. Ten other states have independent panels of this sort to authorize charter schools, precisely so that promising charter providers dont have to depend on the whims of recalcitrant school boards. Georgia should rejoin them." And Debbie Dooley nailed it with, "This whole issue is not about charter schools, it is about control."

COMMENTARY BY JOHN POWLEDGE:

This BOC tried to pull a fast one once and ram a four lane highway directly through the middle of that 309 home community with no safeguards whatsoever for the people who live there. Can you imagine teen and pre-teen kids crossing a four lane highway with nothing more than a traffic light. Can you imagine the noise pollution of big rigs roaring down this 45 MPH posted road (if it's built) at the 50-55 you know most will be doing? Can you imagine the air
~4~

pollution, especially to those houses whose back doors are no more than 50-100 feet from those passing big rigs? And yet our BOC tried to force it through without doing a single noise, pollution, or environmental impact study in regards to how this major road would affect our neighborhood. It is called political corruption! The BOC tried to stick a four lane highway through our neighborhood, Winslow at Eagle's Landing, before we brought a Title 6 complaint against them for not having done easement studies, environmental studies, noise studies or anything. They literally thought they would just roll over us. One of them whom I won't name even told me and I quote "Your little neighborhood just doesn't count for much." Understand he was saying that about 309 households of people who are your neighbors. Hopefully the new BOC will be better. The old one was awful and didn't care a bean about the people of the county. The only way the new BOC will be better though is if we hold their feet to the fire and make them do the right thing, or vote them out of office also!

Anyone paying attention out there????

Henry Citizen Commentary on the Henry County Zoning Advisory Board (ZAB)
Watched Channel 14 last night just long enough to hear one request for zoning change. The request is for C-3 (highway commerical) zoning. I expected the issue to be tabled because 'Staff' did such a poor research job before the meeting. The matter of an easement was not researched to the original deed, so it cannot be waived or otherwise used for a tree buffer by the petitioner. What if the origin of said buffer stated "in perpetuity" meaning it cannot be changed?? Another point for the opposition's law suit. I never expected the chairman of the ZAB to recommend two conditions that make the zoning change unenforceable - and beg for a law suit against the county by both sides. 1. The chairman said "make this C-3 but only for storage." Hint, a one-up interpretation of a county zoning ordinance is arbitrary and capricious. Any attempt to actually enforce the one-up interpretation begs the law suit - and the county's history for losing on "arbitrary and capricious" is legendary. 2. Although the petitioner offered to do the work, the chairman made road improvements a Condition of the Zoning. In effect, she accepted the bribe. The road is county maintained, so any negotiated work (which has monetary value to the county) performed as a condition is Contract Zoning. Simply, the condition (quid pro quo) says the petitioner is buying the zoning decision. Any of those in opposition could file for injunction based on that "sale" and the fact that surrounding residents did not offer anything of value to the county, so they lost. Even the county's Director of Planning & Zoning offered that such a condition would have to be taken up in the "development stage" of the project. WHOA! That means approving the zoning request, and later - out of sight of the public - a deal will be struck. Not for years have I seen such flagrant ignorance of county ordinances and sloppy work. I pray the new commissioners coming onboard in January will place ZAB members with experience and knowledge of our land use plan and county ordinances. Just for grins, either the county manager or the board of commissioners should address the fact the Director of P&Z did not call bs on these issues. It is her job to professionally acknowledge that "passing it to the commissioners" means fully and diligently advising the appointed "amateurs" on the ZAB when an error occurs. Rubber stamping this unanimous decision of the ZAB casts doubt and suspicion on the integrity of the process.

Those Who Serve In Elected Office

By Dr. Michael Moon
Those who serve in elected office many times either dont know what they are doing after getting the position or they wanted it for different reasons all together. I have watched many people stand in the audience and complain at the top of their lungs about what is happening in front of them on any council or board. They want the best interest of those in the audience and for the area as a whole. Then, they decide to run for a position. The candidate will tell about all their good deeds they have planned and about all their abilities to help those if they just vote for them. As this person gains the position then things change. The people they swore to uphold are now seen as the enemy. The elected official promised the world and they are only as good as their word. They have become what they fought so hard to replace. Creating a persona that they are truly doing the work for the people when in essence they are there just to benefit themselves. This is what hurts good honest people who have sought a position and did not get it because they were crowded out by these who see themselves above all. And there are those who are there for the right reason and they can get nothing done because of the environment around them. There is only one thing that is above all and that is the truth. The truth is handed down to us by our Lord who sees and knows all. Watch carefully those you want to help into office because they may be a Trojan horse of guile and guilt. This is the ugly side of politics that we must endure because bad people have always been in the formula and will likely remain there. All we can do is pray to our Lord for guidance at the ballot box. If we get someone who we cannot trust into office then work to see that they are replaced. And if that cannot be done then let them know that the citizens are watching and let your voice be heard; because if that voice is silenced then all that for which they died for in the past, will be for nothing.

CHARTER SCHOOL AMENDMENT: THE PATH TO RESEGREGATION

HTTP://WWW.HENRYCOUNTYTIMES .COM/ARCHIVES/2012/10.10.12/OPINION.HTM

By Emanuel Jones

The editorial featured in The Henry County Times promoted race baiting and fear mongering. My favorite local newspaper has printed a viewpoint typical of our racist state senator. This decision has the potential to take us back to the pre-Civil Rights days of segregated schools and change the way our state funds public education. ~ Emanuel Jones Voting YES for this constitutional amendment effectively re-segregates our schools and will erase decades of progress minorities have fought for in this great state. ~ Emanuel Jones Watch Jones play the race card on the Senate floor: HTTP://WWW.YOUTUBE.COM/WATCH?V=Y1PXPCSSB3Y It is common for Jones to make his arguments, whether it is district maps or education, based on racial motives and playing to fears. So long as voters continue to elect racist representatives, and they are given a bully pulpit to preach Us vs. Them, the great issues we face as a society cannot be met with rational and meaningful resolutions.

Hillary Clinton Says America Must Ignore Violence And Islamic Extremism Sweeping Middle East And Continue To Back Arab Spring
(REUTERS) The United States must look past the violence and extremism that has erupted after the Arab Spring revolutions and boost support for the regions young democracies to forge long-term security, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday. Clinton, seeking to reinforce the Obama administrations Middle East policy following a wave of antiAmerican violence and last months deadly attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, said Washington cannot be deterred by the violent acts of a small number of extremists. We recognize that these transitions are not Americas to manage, and certainly not ours to win or lose, Clinton said in a speech to the Center for Strategic and International Studies, a Washington think tank. But we have to stand with those who are working every day to strengthen democratic institutions, defend universal rights, and drive inclusive economic growth. That will produce more capable partners and more durable security over the long term. Middle East unrest has become fodder for the U.S. presidential campaign, where Republican candidate Mitt Romney has sought to portray President Barack Obama as an ineffectual leader who has left the United States vulnerable at a time of international crisis.
