Mathematics A Level

It is very highly respected by universities and employers It is a valued A or AS Level qualification and gives you access to many courses including Engineering and Accountancy. What do you need to study A Level mathematics? A good grade at GCSE, having studied at higher tier. Students will need A or A* grade at GCSE. (In exceptional circumstances we may accept a grade B). Course Content In year 12 three modules are studied: Core 1 (C1) Pure Mathematics 1 (including Algebra, Trigonometry and Geometry) Core 2 (C2) Pure Mathematics 2 Statistics 1 (S1) C1 exam is normally sat in January of year 12 with C2 and S1 following in June of year 12.
