The Official Whiskerino Rules and Regulations (slightly amended regarding dates) 1.

The Contest Our competition will officially run from Monday 22 October 2012 until Sunday 10 February 2013. Contestants (Gordon Bolton and David McFadyen) agree to post an image at least once every 7 dayshowever, aim to post one every day; will only not post one when it is not possible for example going on holiday (as this is a factor in Davids job, under these circumstances when he cant get to the internet to post an image he will store them and post them on his return, same for Gordon). 2. The Clean Palette On the Morning of Monday 22 October 2012 Gordon and David must be clean shaven. Allowable hair types: Sideburns (though they must be shaved up to the earlobe); ear hair (though in reality ear hair should be banned by any reasonable person in life, not specifically for the contest, it should just be banned); mutton chops; goatee; neck hair; moustaches. There are NO EXCEPTIONS. 3. Beard Growth This follows The Parker Brothers Beyond Balderdash Beard Growing Contestrules: Both participants are to grow a beard and refusal to do so is not in the spirit of the contest. As testosterone levels differ in every male and all levels of growth regardless of density and coverage are encouraged. As long as the participant is not shaving they are participating. 4. Shaving Trimming or shaping of hair growth is highly frowned upon. Participants are encouraged to let their beards follow their natural path. Sculpting will be questioned and must be kept to a minimum. 5. False Pretences By supplying a photo for upload and display during David and Gordon Winter Whiskerino 2012 the participant (Gordon and David) enter into an agreement stating the following The photo is, in fact, the participant (and all photos must contain at least a portion of the participants beard) The photo has not been altered by digital means in regard to beard growth, shape or density The photo may not contain added text, graphics or clip art unless in participation with the themed day. 6. Image Uploading The image must be a picture of the participants face, and must include at least a portion of the beard. The participant must be fully dressed when taking the picture, and the the picture must not contain any hateful imagery or wording. A maximum of one image a day may be submitted by the participants, and there must be at least one image a week submitted by the participant. (seven days constituting a week). If the participant is unable to do this, it must be discussed with the other participant and an appropriate time frame agreed upon. 7. Hall of Shame Failure to comply with the rules and regulations of Winter Whiskerino will result in the participant being sequestered to the hall of shame. If a participant breaches the rules and regulations of the Winter Whiskerino, and a sponsor of theirs wishes to back out they will be responsible for the total the sponsor had pledged.

8. Completion The competition will be completed on Sunday 10 February 2013 at 9 am. However, the participant will not be permitted to shave their beard until their money is collected. Once all money is collected by participants for the charity, then the individuals will be permitted to shave and can post this as their final image. The first person to post a clean shaven image after Sunday 10 February 2012 will be the outright winner. the affiliated twitter account will be the deciding timeframe.
