A New Start for EBTs?

Changes introduced by the disguised remuneration legislation have shaken up the trustee world and still represent a major challenge a challenge that is best tackled if fully understood. However, the governments keenness to encourage employee share ownership is an encouraging sign for EBTs. The Nuttall Review embraces the shares in trust model of employee ownership and should spark a new wave of business for Guernsey trusts. A representative of the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills and governmental adviser Graeme Nuttall will be part of the high-level speaker line-up addressing delegates at the conference.
