Led a team of voice and network engineers in the support and maintenance of 150 networked devices in a
Cisco and Avaya infrastructure. VOIP, routing, switching, security and monitoring were the primary
resources of responsibility. Also acted as liaison for scheduling change controls, implementation of security
policies, intrusion prevention, routing and switching implementation, budgeting and third party vendor
management to secure quotes and negotiate purchases. 7+ years of experience in network troubleshooting
with strong WAN/LAN/Wireless experience supporting installation, maintenance and compliance for
customers and end users in a global thin-client (WYSE) Citrix networking environment.
Led a team of engineers while providing mentoring and priority management for tickets and network
management projects. 4+ years of experience in network troubleshooting with strong WAN/LAN experience
supporting installation, maintenance and compliance for customers in a Cisco networking environment.
Provide leadership in analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed Tandem systems applications. Create,
maintain and distribute related procedures to provide solutions to Tandem hardware and software problems
on S and K series platform systems.
Performed junior system level administration on a Tandem Himalaya K1000 system and assisted with the
install of a Guardian Operating System upgrade to the Tandem K1000 allowing for Base24 software
implementation. Maintained and documented all system software products, procedures, and departmental
operational requirements in accordance with CIS standards.
Provided maintenance on a Tandem Himalaya series mainframe as stated on SLA agreements to improve
diagnosing facilities. Implemented new monitoring software to improve alerting capabilities to the operations
staff. Trained 10 Data Center personnel on Tandem on-line transaction processing improving escalation and
ABEND resolution techniques.
