Non-Destructive Pipe Repair Solution for Oceanside Complex

Pinhole leaks plagued this Oceanside, California, condominium complex for several years. The complex is composed of 30 two-story or threestory buildings, each with 8 to 10 units. The property includes some ocean views and immaculate landscaping. System: The entire potable system in all of the buildings. The pipe lines are made of type M copper, which is a thin and less durable metal pipe. The pipes widths range from 1/2" to 1.5". The pipe system is located under slab and in the ceilings throughout the condominium units. Problem: This condominium complex had been plagued with pinhole leaks for several years. Repairing the leaks one-at-a-time cost the complex more than ten thousand dollars per year. The customer was determined to find an effective, long-term solution that would cause as little disruption to the residents as possible. Circumvention: A traditional repipe repair would have been much more intrusive and destructive than Nu Flows in-place solution, and that is precisely why the customer did not choose a repipe. Replacing the pipes also would have cost 15-20% more.
