rocesses Unlimited (ProU) provides our clients with one of the largest automation and electrical teams in the U.S. ProU Instrumentation and Electrical department members work in dedicated project teams. Together we start with the client to analyze the conceptual stage of the facilities layout and controls architecture, and then move to detailed engineering and design, assistance with construction, and work with our control systems and programming personnel in commissioning and start-up of their plants. Our process engineers and control systems engineers are engaged with our clients to develop Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) which become the base document for design. The P&IDs show the interactivity of mechanical, electrical and controls equipment, as well as all the necessary control loops. ProUs electrical engineers work as part of these project teams with our clients to provide plant electrical load studies and one-line diagrams leading up to creation of electrical drawing sets for permit and safety analysis, and for construction of 12kV to 480V transformer yards, switch gear and redundant equipment for 24/7/365 operation. ProU Fresno ofce includes a panel assembly shop where we build and test Programmable Controller panels and MCC for our clients. Utilization of this facility is central to ProUs services as a Control System Integrator to create and provide process control and MCC panels as placed as a single order, and as an integrated turnkey service. We manage and participate in these integrator projects providing panel design, control system conguration, panel assembly, programming both logic for the PLC and graphics for plant operator visualization of the entire plant operation.

Design and programming assistance on multiple projects. Texas Utilities Energy Audit Site audits and capital cost estimate for adding additional instrumentation for efciency calculations and preventative maintenance Namrup Turbine Upgrade Pressure transmitter panel design and fabrication Ameren Phase 1 Programming and graphic modications at multiple sites to add remote start/stop and automatic generator control for gas red turbines Work included interfacing with a Harris D20 RTU (Remote Termination Unit) and additional interfaces to the turbine control system and balance of plant (BOP) system. All work was required to be executed at the sites and involved testing of the modications. Systems modied include: Emerson Delta V Rockwell/Honeywell ProcessLogix Allen-Bradley ControlLogix Indian River Auto synchronizer for an existing 500 MW turbine.
