The Incompleteness of Social Darwinisms Evolution Omar Alansari-Kreger

This brings about another provocative issue which has caused a near endless debate about our social evolution and biological development as a human race. Whenever attempting to rationalize such a point of view, deterministic stances and their corresponding dispositions must be toned down so that another party can maintain their own point of view without having to worry about being scrutinized for a series of individualized beliefs. This is an issue that is inherently sensitive to any outside observer who retains an empathetic view of the world. Furthermore, this is typically where religion and secularism clash and the battles between the two have often been fierce which results in a society that is further divided based on the beliefs that are held by two major groups of people. In the end, we must direct an effort to acknowledge that the theory of evolution itself is nothing more than what it actually is; this being a scientific theory. Charles Darwin himself was actually someone who can be classified as religious by todays standards and never insisted that his theory was situated upon the foundation of an absolute truth that directly unlocks itself before the naked human eye; even the originator of this theory did not discount the hypothetical probabilities surrounding the substance of the actual source of its advocacy. There are still many missing links whenever attempting to add further substance combined together with specific threads of research which attempt to clarify all of the haze that is directly attributable to the missing links whenever observing the disposition put forward by the evolutionists. If we all emerged from a primordial monkey, ape, or chimpanzee from a prehistoric period of time, then where is the transitional species that rests in between that can demonstrate the transformational process of evolution? On the other hand, the religious approach lacks the empirical evidence that so many

skeptics of religion endlessly necessitate in order to attribute a source of substance to what is generally a cynical and selfjustified standpoint. In this day and age, it seems that identifying and believing with the principles that actively support religion transcends into an audacious effort which usually ends up with the individual advocate being scrutinized for their beliefs simply because it is thought they are intellectual simpletons. To put it fairly, we must acknowledge the weaknesses and frail attributes which directly signal our humanly nature as sapient and sentient beings of the universe. We must be in a position to realize that not everything is directly visible to the naked human eye and humanity (irrespective of its place in time and the incumbent generation) will never be able to know, understand, and appreciate all of the imperative attributes which define our universal surroundings both within our own planet in addition to the infinitesimal face of the universe. Simply, we are intellectually and physically limited as human beings and there is only so much that we can hope to unlock when it comes down to revealing the secrets of the universe in addition to our own kind. A leap of faith is required in any particular belief system and the substance of religion is definitely no exception whatsoever. We cannot discount the unseen due to a lack of faith while arbitrarily throwing all of our bargaining chips into the empirical world which equally suffers from its lack of definitive detail. Individuals should not be scrutinized for their religious disagreement with evolution and the force behind Social Darwinism must tone down its absolutist gulag which has been intellectually imposed on the societal mainstream worldwide.

A respectful dialogue must be maintained and an individual should be allowed to travel down the path that rationalizes with their own view of the world; this is a stance that must be treated as an essential human right. When it is all said and done the truth articulates and communicates one universal message and it is up to the individual to accept its substance. Accepting the truth is never an easy pill to swallow, but individuals are intuitively and consciously aware of its relevance and tangential connection to their livelihoods deep down from within the innards of their hearts. The more cynical someone becomes, the better they are at ignoring the truth while sheltering their own being beneath a worldview that is virtually isolated in its own right.
