Amended Seminole State College of Florida Presidents Performance-Based Incentive Indicators

1. FTIC Growth The annual number of First Time In College (FTIC) students enrolled in college credit courses will exceed the previous years total. 2. Student Diversity The total annual proportion of minority student enrollments in statefundable courses will be higher than the Seminole County minority population proportion for both genders. 3. Student Placement Rates The average placement rate of all Seminole State College career program placements will equal or exceed the Florida College System average. 4. Employee Diversity Seminole State Colleges percent of minority full-time employees by gender and employee category will meet or exceed targets established by the Florida Department of Education Equity Office to reflect educational credentials required for the majority of employment positions. 5. College Prep Success The percent of First Time In College degree-seeking students who successfully complete the highest level college prep course within two years will exceed the Florida College System (FCS) rate. Note: all three disciplines (math, reading, and writing) must exceed system rate. 6. Student Retention The retention of Fall First Time In College (FTIC) degree-seeking students, as measured by the percent of students who re-enroll in their second term, will exceed the Florida College System rate. 7. Student Point of Experience Survey Results Spring Term The ratings from Student Point of Experience Surveys conducted during Spring Term registration, measuring 5 attributes per campus (Overall Rating, Welcoming Attitude, Respectful and Courteous, Reasonable Wait Time, Ability to Help, and Ability to Provide Useful Information), which must meet or exceed an average of 3.5 (4.0=Excellent) for each attribute per campus. 8. Student Point of Experience Survey Results Fall Term The ratings from Student Point of Experience Surveys conducted during Fall Term registration, measuring 5 attributes per campus (Overall Rating, Welcoming Attitude, Respectful and Courteous, Reasonable Wait Time, Ability to Help, and Ability to Provide Useful Information), which must meet or exceed an average of 3.5 (4.0=Excellent) for each attribute per campus. 9. Program Completion Rates The percent of Seminole State First Time In College (FTIC) degree or certificate seeking students who complete their associates degree within four years, or complete their college credit certificate program within two years,

will exceed the Florida College System average. Note: All three completion areas (AA, AS, PSV) must exceed the system average. 10. Adult High School Transition Rates The percent of annual Seminole State Adult High School graduates who enrolled in Seminole State post-secondary courses in the same or next academic year will exceed 50%. (Excludes dual enrollment courses.) 11. AA Graduate Performance in the SUS The percentage of AA graduates from Seminole State who transfer to the State University System (SUS) and achieve a GPA of 3.0 or higher will exceed the FCS system-wide percentage of AA graduates achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher. 12. Growth in College Credit FTE Seminole States annual Credit FTE growth will exceed the Florida College Systems annual rate of growth. 13. Foundation Contributions The total annual dollar contributions received by the Seminole State Foundation will equal or exceed the moving average from the previous three fiscal years. 14. Grant Funding The total annual dollar contributions received by the Seminole State Grants Office will equal or exceed $2.0M annually. 15. Population Participation Rates The total annual unduplicated headcount in FTEgenerating courses as a percent of Seminole County population (i.e., the Participation Rate) will exceed the aggregated Participation Rate of Seminole States peer institutions* and their respective service regions. *Brevard, Daytona, Lake-Sumter, and Valencia
