Markets have firmed up. Heavy bruising, overripening and pin rot are still prevalent.

2.CUCUMBER

Cucumber markets have firmed as Georgia growing areas experience cooler weather. Supplies are tight.

3.ASPARAGUS

Markets have become active as volumes in Peru decline and Mexican product faces quality issues.

4.GRAPES

Green Grape and Red Grape markets have strengthened.

5.RED PEPPERS

Red Pepper markets are extremely strong as supplies become lighter on the West Coast.

Markets are steady. Quality is good with product coming primarily out of Georgia. Florida will begin in a week or so.

Hot weather continues to drive Cauliflower and Broccoli production up. Supplies are plentiful and quality is good on both commodities.

Supplies are steady coming out of Santa Maria and Salinas. Quality is excellent.

Cucumber markets have firmed as Georgia growing areas experience cooler weather. Supplies are tight. Florida will begin in two weeks. Eggplant supplies are good coming from Georgia and Florida.

Red Pepper markets are extremely strong as supplies become lighter on the West Coast. Yellow Pepper markets are steady.

Green Grape and Red Grape markets have firmed. Red Grape supplies continue to be affected by color issues. Green Grape and Red Globe supplies have tightened. Black Grapes are available for about another two weeks.

Markets are weak. Quality is good.

Florida has begun with decent supplies and quality. California growing areas continue to suffer from rains which have affected crops. Larger size product is tight. Cherry, Grape and Plum volumes are good.

Lettuce markets are steady. Quality is good with occasional instances of tip burn, lighter weights and decay as a result of hot temperatures and wind.

melonhoneydew & cantaloupe

WE LOVE

Cantaloupe supplies are improving. Markets remain firm. Honeydew markets are stable with good supplies coming from Nogales.
