Athletes who point out to certain results (ex: World Champion,) tend to experiment more anxiety e less self-confidence as his/her objectives are not totally under his/her control. On the reverse, the athletes who construct their own sportive models by performance goals (Personal record, improve technique) present a more stabilized and positive state of mind, due to a greater control perception about his/her own performance.
