REVISED GUIDELINES FOR GRANTING EXTERNAL GUIDESHIP 1. The applicant should be a permanent faculty member with not less than 5 years of continuous service in an approved institution / affiliated to an University / University / University Declared under section 3 of UGC Act 1956) Application should be forwarded by the Principal of College concerned. 2. Minimum 2 years of research experience after having been awarded with Ph.D. 3. Two National / International publications (after obtaining Ph.D) in a peer reviewed/refereed journal with ISSN/ISBN/Impact Factor is must. 4. Rs. 10,000/- towards fee for guideship along with a processing fee of Rs.1,000/should be collected from the applicants. 5. The application for Ph.D guideship should be submitted in person along with P.G, M.Phil and Ph.D degree certificates in original for verification and immediate return. 6. The application for Ph.D (External) Guideship received, should immediately be forwarded to the subject experts/ HOD/Dean in the University for the subject concerned in which Guideship is sought. After having obtained the subject experts/HODs/Deans recommendation, the same should be placed before the Syndicate Sub Committee for Research at its ensuing/forth coming meeting. 7. Cases pertaining to complaint about External Guide, should be brought before the Syndicate Sub Committee on research. 8. The University reserves the right to cancel the guideship at any time followed by official proceedings.
