O PAPEL DA EDUCAO CRIST NA SOCIEDADE THE ROLE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION IN SOCIETY

A literatura relacionada proposta crist de educao evidencia certa complexidade semntica sobre o assunto. Em alguns casos esta complexidade chega confuso de restringir a educao crist ao ensino praticado na Escola Dominical. Ainda h aqueles que identificam a educao crist meramente como educao religiosa. O objetivo deste artigo contribuir com o esclarecimento do assunto atravs de uma anlise quanto natureza da educao crist, seus postulados teolgicos e desafios contemporneos. Considerando que o dilogo acadmico um exerccio dinmico este artigo tambm visa a motivar outras reflexes nesta rea. E assim,percebermos quanto maior for a capacidade das pessoas de usarem a linguagem, melhores suas condies de se apropriar dos sentidos e ensinamentos contidos nos textos bblicos. Por conseguinte, as converses ocorrero de maneira mais consciente. Palavras chave: Educao crist,educao secular,ensino religioso, teologia prtica. ABSTRACT The theme of Christian education is not new. The literature relating to the proposed Christian educa-tion shows some semantic complexity on the subject. In some cases this complexity comes the confusion of narrow Christian education committed to teaching Sunday School. Yet there are those who identify as Christian education merely religious education. The aim of this paper is to contribute to the clarification of the issue through an analysis of the nature of Christian education, its principles and theological challenges. Whereas the dialogue is an academic exercise di-dynamic this article also aims to motivate other reflections in this area. And, yes, we realize the greater the ability of people to use their language, their best position to appropriate the meanings and teachings in the biblical texts. Therefore, the conversions will occur more consciously. Keywords: Christian education, secular education, religious education, practical theology.
