The needs of disadvantaged people need to be taken into account in the design of all policies and measures, and that action for the same people is not limited to those policies and measures which are specifically addressing their needs. Disabilitymainstreamingintheemploymentstrategy:People with disabilities are one of the groups who are most disadvantaged as regards their participation in the labour market. The Employment Strategy has a great deal to offer for people who run a high risk of exclusion from the labour market. Relevant elements shall be presented for discussion. ISOCertification, disabilityandergonomicsattheworkplace:From your visual comfort at the computer screen (ISO 9241) to the mental workload experienced at the office (ISO 10075), ergonomics is at the centre of all types of work situations and how comfortable we are in those working situations. The goal of ergonomics in the workplace is to eliminate worker exposure to occupational hazards e.g presence of ramps at every staircase is a score on disability inclusion ISO/IWA 2:Quality management systems Guidelines for the application of ISO 9001:2000 in education, industryandpublicsector:Gettingthebalancerightforanallinclusivesociety. Socialinclusionofpersonswithdisabilitiesthroughinformationandcommunicationtechnologies (ICTs): The use of ICTs in all stages of education, training and human resource development should be promoted, taking into account the special needs of persons with disabilities and disadvantaged and vulnerable groups.
