Education: The University of Exeter: Peter Symonds College: (A Levels) Thornden School: (GCSEs) Relevant Experience:
Interning at the Publicis Group: Leo Burnett (London) Summer 2012 At Leo Burnett I was one of seven interns; the main objective throughout our time at Leo was to compile a creative brief for McDonalds and pitch it to a group of Account Planners, Handlers and Creatives. We produced a comprehensive above and below the line advertising campaign, which received positive feedback following our entertaining and quirky pitch. My time at Leo involved working closely with a team of varying aged individuals, managing time effectively, taking on-board constructive criticism and learning about each role within the agency. Interning at the Publicis Group: Starcom MediaVest (London) Summer 2012 At Starcom Mediavest I was placed in the Research Department and assisted with different projects associated with the team. At the time the Olympics had just finished, I was involved in assessing and analysing tweets about the event and the coverage it received both in the UK and in America. I compiled reports for different individuals in the research team, regarding all manner of content, created powerpoints and attended strategy meetings. Additionally I worked on the TGI programme and created searches to target particular consumers, a task that is very relevant to my degree in Psychology. University of Southampton Science Learning Centre - Marketing Assistant June 2011- September 2011 This job allowed me to really gain an insight into marketing and the crucial role of social media. In this position I was expected to set up a comprehensive twitter and facebook account for the SLC and be in sole charge of keeping both sites relevant and up-to-date. Additionally, I compiled a report advising key changes that needed to be made to the SLCs current website (my suggestions are being implemented in late 2012). Other tasks I completed included speaking to failing schools to gather appropriate data for SLCs resources, and designing leaflets, which were distributed at training courses.

Other Experience: Voluntary Work for the Princes Trust Summer 2012 I really respect and admire all the work the Princes Trust does for young people; my degree lends itself to this particular charity and I felt I wanted to volunteer here. Amongst many other tasks, I was trusted to handle sensitive information about certain individuals the Trust were helping at the time, I was required to input these personal details into the trust-on-track system.
