New Opportunities!!!
Live the Mission Celebration! Local, National, and International missions opportunities will be on display in the fellowship hall on November 11th during our morning worship and bible study times. Dont miss this great opportunity to connect and live the mission! Thanksgiving with Internationals- Join area churches as we have a special time to dine with students from around the world on November 17th at 5p.m. and share our greatest motivation for Thanksgivingour faith in Jesus Christ! Register with the Missions Ministry for more information. St. Marys Home for Disabled Children - Yet another Big Serve event has taken on a life of its own! Join this great team as they seek to provide a worship experience for these children in need. For more information contact our Missions Ministry. Multihousing Ministry Events for the holidays- The Gosnold and Bobbitt Apartment Ministries will host various opportunities to reach out to these residents in need through the difficulties of the holidays. Operation Christmas Child- We will be collecting packed shoeboxes for OCC through November 18th for children around the world. Stop by our OCC kiosk in the lobby of the church for more information!

Park Place Health & Dental Clinic- Contact the Park Place Clinic for a tour and to learn about the many opportunities for service in one of Norfolks most marginalized areas. Ride the Tide! Our church is prayerwalking and seeking opportunities to begin new ministries along the route of this public transit service. Contact the Missions Ministry for more information. Vietnamese Ministry- Join this growing opportunity that our church has to impact a people globally by reaching out to those who live right here in Hampton Roads. Hispanic Ministry- Our Hispanic Ministry has many plans for reaching out through home bible studies, work at the Harvard Apartments, and on the Eastern Shore. Hampton Roads Regional Jail- Hispanic and English opportunities exist with Chaplain Gene Sayre. For more information call 757-217-2613. Judeo Christian Outreach Center- Join our Young at Heart team on the third Thursday of every month in serving at this homeless shelter or consider leading a bible study for the residents of this institution at another time. Soup Kitchen Outreach in Ghent- Join this group of students and adults on the fourth Sunday of each month for an opportunity to reach out to the least of these in Norfolk.
