Professional Summary
I am currently employed at Golicks Dairy bar located in Dover, NH and have been working there since July 2012. Golicks closes on Columbus Day and opens in May 2013. Summer 2009 I studied abroad in France for a month where I lived with a family and improved my French by experiencing the French culture and language. Summer 2010 I attended Governors Honors Program (GHP) which is a six-week summer experience in Valdosta, GA for rising high school juniors and seniors. Students are nominated by their teachers in a particular subject area, or major. Afterwards, the nominees go through an intensive interview process during which they show their proficiency in their chosen subject. Only 690 of the thousands of students nominated are invited to attend the program. GHP participants spend four hours a day in their majors, where they are given the opportunity to delve deeper into their subject matter than a normal high school setting would allow. Students also spend 2.5 hours a day in their minors, which are chosen when the participants arrive at GHP. Minors are a learning experience, and students are encouraged to pick an area in which they are not completely familiar.

Major: French French majors go through an intensive six-week French immersion program that covers a variety of topics. Students work on five projects throughout their time at GHP, and the two largest projects (World Language Expo and Cabaret) are presented to the whole student body. Minor: Fitness

Fitness minors participate in physical activities such as soccer, badminton, and frisbee. The goal of the Fitness teachers is to expose minors to as many activities as possible in six weeks, as well as to build teamwork skills. It is a highly intensive and competitive minor. Students are interviewed by the Fitness teachers, and, in order to be chosen for the minor, they must be selected. Fitness instructors choose students based on ability and openness to participate in activities.

Baby-sitter/ Camp Counselor Acworth/Kennesaw

As a baby-sitter, I usually look after my neighbors kids on the weekends and sometimes during the week. They range from age 5-10. However in the summer I do not look after them as often as they are busy with vacation and summer camps. As a camp counselor, I volunteer each summer in the Junior Hoya Running Camp which lasts for one week in June. I am in charge of leading a group of kids each day on team runs, helping them with team-building activities, and instructing them on the basic techniques of running properly. I was captain of my cross country team and track and field team my senior year of high school.

Education
2015 University of New Hampshire Major: Nursing I attend the University of New Hampshire on an academic scholarship as a full time student. I plan to major in Nursing with a focus of Genetics and minor in French. Durham, NH

Community Involvement
In high school I was involved with Key club where we helped with various programs around our community as volunteers. Within this club I participated in Adopt- a-mile where we help clean up litter and trash around our school. I also participated in special needs baseball and Must-Ministries. Through my church, Saint Catherines of Sienna, I have been involved in several community service activities such as Bingo Nigh at nursing homes, helping with weddings, cooking for the homeless, Must-Ministries, public speaking to younger children in Sunday school, alter-server during Mass, and cleaning up local parks.
