Born in Groton, Connecticut in 1978 then relocated to San Diego, California shortly after my first birthday and raised all over the county. Description as a Glazier
My role as a Glazier is for the purpose/s of maintaining, replacing glass and glass-related products at Commercial, Residential, and industrial facilities; installing and replacing glass windows, doors, display cases, along with other fixtures; install and replace window screens in addition to screen frames. Incumbent in these classifications I provide the public with well-maintained and safe building infrastructures and facilities.

Essential Functions:
Job responsibilities included, but are not limited to, the following: Coordinated with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently. Estimated time along with material costs for the purpose of determining costs for specific jobs. Glazed windows, doors, cases, etc. ( e.g. caul-king, weather proofing structures, replaces broken windows, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining any facilities in a safe and comfortable condition. Inspected facilities for the purpose of ensuring safety and cleanliness, and identifying necessary repairs. Maintained glazing equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating conditions. Repaired various glass items for the purpose of maintaining a facilities safe and attractive condition.

Other Functions:
Assisted other personnel as required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective wok environment. Installed items for the purpose of maintaining comfort and security of any facility.

Job Summary
As an Estimator I learned what a critical position within any construction company. While Estimating I have been responsible for evaluating bid specifications and drawings, ensured that the company knew everything required to successfully bid and win the project. Aggressively followed up with subcontractors to ensure that bids are received.

Responsibilities:
Overall strategy is to be the most relentless proactive Glazing contractor in the local and joining areas. Therefore i believe every employee should be held to the same standard of Relentless Proactive. I use this behavior to drive every project.

Bid Administration:
Prepared and maintained status of plan reproduction. Solicited along with maintained communication with subcontractors and vendors. Prepared subcontractor bid packages. Transmitted addenda in addition to other bid information to subcontractors. Ensured that the company had proper coverage from subcontractors, labor, as well as materials on bid day. Contracted supply houses to obtain additional vender and subcontractor bids. Showed creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from venders and subcontractors. Submitted 100% of bids and budgets by the deadline- No exceptions. Entered all relevant information into appropriate folders and files.

Project knowledge:

Reviewed bid requirements thoroughly and asked follow-up questions on every bid. Had a thorough understanding of the scope for all Division 080000, 079000, as well as specific trades assigned. Developed RFIs(Request For Information) along with clarifications to ensure adequate subcontractor coverage. Preformed a comprehensive Bid day analysis and scoping of specific trade information. Consistently followed up on submitted bids and budgetss with Architects and Construction Managers to close business.

Project Turnover:

Properly turned over bid documents to Project Management in a timely manner. Goal is always 100% of awarded projects turned over within 48 hours of award notification. Completed project kick-off forms to ensure compliance.

This 20,000 square foot medical plaza, located in South Carlsbad is situated on a 1.94 acre property within the master-planned business community of Bressi Ranch. Fuscoe provided an integrated approach to detention and bio-retention for the stormwater flow and treatment which included curb openings to allow for flow into landscaping and incorporating sand filtered trenches in landscape areas for a more usable and aesthetically pleasing site.

NEW CONSTRUCTION AT BRIAN HEAD SKI RESORT- FEATURING "THE LOFTS AT BRIAN HEAD" located at the foot of Giant Steps ski run in Brian Head Ski Resort, is a condo development that brings the outdoors inside. Includes twenty foot ceilings with a glass open front overlooking Brian Head Peak and the Giant Steps ski run. This unique window frontage allows residents to feel as though they are actually outside. The natural stone and wood architecture gives a feeling of being back to nature and bringing the outdoors inside. The Loft has brought a different feel to mountain living at Brian Head. Designed by Leslie Engineering, this condo project has a modern, contemporary style with todays luxury upgrades: a beautiful stone fireplace, glass railing, marble countertops, tiled shower surrounds, glass shower doors, jetted tubs, beautiful large glass bowls for bathroom sinks, stainless steal appliances, stove, wall oven, microwave, trash compactor, dishwasher, garbage disposal, tile, carpet and hardwood flooring, natural gas water heater, 2 car garage, 2 covered balconies one set up with a gas stub for outside BBQ.

Over a 2 to 2 1/2 year period United Glass Co. was being awarded contracts for large glass replacement, Exhibit Remodels, and New exhibits. During this time we completed work on such exhibits as, the Gorilla, Panda, Arangatang and Douc Langur monkey. In addition to the exhibit projects we also provided glazing for gift shops and ticket booths. The majority of these projects were heavy glass sets (1-1/2 to 2 thick multi-layer laminated). Often times cranes and heavy machinery where used during the complex installs.
