Bible:
We will begin our next unit, which is Unit 3 Review: Creation through Joshua.

Memory work: Hebrews 11:1-3

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. By faith we understand that the universe was formed at Gods command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. * Memory work test will be given next Thursday.

Reading:
We will begin learning about nonfiction and discover how to effectively read non-fiction books. If you receive newspapers or magazines at home, encourage your child to identify different text features.

Units:
Our new unit is on forests. Students will learn about types of forests, what is going on in the forest, and some important roles forests play. We will also discuss Gods wisdom in creation of forests.
