SUMMER 2012 NEWSLETTER

JOHN WAHLBORG TOTAL TENNIS

A WORD FROM JOHNNY

After finishing the Spring Program with the 1st annual Play Day and Fish Fry, we looked back as a staff at a very successful Spring with tons of improvement. At the same time, we planned out the beginning of Summer. June is one of the most productive months of the year for our program. We had 39 of our players compete in the LA Junior Qualifying Tournament. We held a Training Camp a week before and worked very hard while having a blast. Players went into Qualifying prepared for the battle and competed very hard. We trained again the week after at the Southern Training Camp and the players that qualified headed all over the South to play Southerns. Some of the most improved came from kids that did not qualify for Southerns participated in the Southern Training Camp anyway and worked their butts off preparing for their next tournament. Its great to have so many players that work with a great attitude! John Wahlborg Total Tennis is on fire!

TIPS
You Have to Earn it!
Our program is designed to develop players both mentally and physically. It takes a long time to reach your potential in both of these areas. Each day in all different settings including tournaments, programs, and family involvement, our program is designed to build our players strength and confidence. The number of tournament players and college players that our program has developed proves that the system works. However, its up to you to earn your own success in the game. The players that have earned it have been the ones who stayed in the program and bought into the system. Plenty have bounced around looking for the secret to success in tennis, but there is none. Every day is another day for us to build their strength and confidence. You have to earn it!
