To test the idea and to understand if the we have found a real need, we followed two analysis paths:

A SURVEY ON SURVEYMONKEY FACE TO FACE INTERVIEWS

To get quick and comparable answers from at about 100 people where the number of people interviewed was lower, but where we get more complex responses SEE RELATED VIDEO ON SEE RELATED PDF QUESTIONNAIRE

DO CUSTOMERS HAVE THE PROBLEM THAT YOU THINK THEY DO? According to customers feed back we found that the need were try to interprete is not felt ONLY by parents/children but also in grandchildren or siblings, with the risult of an increased percentage expected in paltform market share. By the survey we notice - as expected - that the problem is more felt by MALE with an age between 31 to 40, because in this range of population we can find more people who could be far from home for work.* *Obviously the survey was taken by people with kids or nephews.

From responders feedback we have to keep in mind these aspects in the development of Jokoa: WE CANT OFFER A GREAT EXPERIENCE SACRIFICING THE USABILITY AND THE SPEED OF TELEPHONE CALL WE HAVE TO OFFER VERY STRONG TOOLS TO ENSURE PRIVACY ACCORDING TO PARENTS NEEDS THE IDEA OF THE PLATFORM GENERATES A LOT OF INTEREST the Respondents realize they could interact and talk with their children at the same time. They believe Jokoa wolud be a good way to cope their children while they travel for work. better than using alone email, IM and chat app, with with which they only can have a chat. i.e.: THE FORMULA IS IN REPLICATING THAT ASPECT OF PARENTAL RELATIONSHIP MISSING STORYTELLING OR READING WITH BOTH PARENT AND CHLID WEB BOOK INTERACTION SINGING OR PLAYING MUSIC TOGETHER TOGETHER PAINTING GAMING The possibility in playing together this is a more general aspects that requires another survey in order to better focus WHAT KIND AND HOW SAFE GAMES we have to introduce next into Jokoa.

conclusions
FORM OF PAYMENT We were not surprised that the MAJORITY OF RESPONDENTS WERE NOT INTERESTED IN A PAID APPLICATION, preferring a FREEMIUM SOLUTION, free at first, but with the POSSIBILITY OF BUYING specific and advanced content within the system. FEE From the survey we also get the info that the MONTHLY FEE would not be accepted by all responders probably it would better accepted A PAY FOR USE FEE solution. IS THERE A DIFFERENT PROBLEM THAT THEY ARE MUCH MORE INTERESTED IN HAVING YOU SOLVE FOR THEM? Regular travel is hard for parents and children and also for grandparents when their beloved are away for a long time. They know that this service could help them to feel closer, but could not solve the problem completely. LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE STILL PURSUING THE SAME IDEA OR IF YOU ARE CHANGING TO A NEW IDEA BASED ON CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. Our survey shows that the interest in this app is great and that the respondents prefer not only to play game with their children, but also to read them a book, to sing or play with them, to watch videos or even paint togegher: AS A RESULT JOKOA HAS TO OFFER A WIDER RANGE OF SERVICES THAN ONLY GAMES. THE LAST 30 DAYS TURNOVERS of 130 apps dedicated to kids within several subcategories were considered. THE AVERAGE TURNOVER (last 30 days observed) calculated was of about 105 k, with a 95% certainty that this would not fall under 5k.
